\n\n \n \n What if I am on a plan that costs more or less than the ACP\n discount?\n \n

\n The ACP discount program is designed to lower the cost of a\n monthly plan for a smartphone, hotspot or tablet. If your monthly\n plan price is $30 or less per month ($75 for households on\n qualifying Tribal lands), you will receive up to a $30 discount\n each month ($75 for households on qualifying Tribal lands) and\n your monthly plan will be "free". If your monthly plan\n costs more than the discount provided by the ACP benefit, you can\n simply call us to pay the difference between the plan's\n retail price and the ACP discount. For example, if you select a\n $45/month plan and you receive a $30/month ACP discount, you would\n only pay $15/month (plus the appropriate taxes, fees, and\n surcharges) for the plan.\n

\n \n \n What discounts can I get with the Affordable Connectivity Program?\n \n

If your household is eligible, you can receive:

\n Up to a $30 per month discount on any monthly smartphone,\n hotspot or tablet plan\n
\n Up to a $75 per month discount for households on qualifying\n Tribal lands\n

\n \n \n What households qualify for the ACP discount?\n \n

\n A household is eligible if one member of the household meets at\n least one of the criteria below:\n

\n Household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty\n guidelines;\n
\n Household participates in certain assistance programs, such as\n SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or\n Lifeline;\n
\n Household is located on qualifying Tribal lands and participates\n in Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs\n General Assistance, Tribal TANF, Tribal Head Start or the Food\n Distribution Program on Indian Reservations;\n
\n Household participates in the free and reduced–price\n school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including\n through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision in the current\n school year; or\n
\n Household member received a Federal Pell Grant during the\n current award year.\n

\n \n \n What's the ACP program definition of a "household"?\n \n

\n A "household" is defined as any individual or group of\n individuals, related or unrelated, who live together at the same\n address and who contribute to and share the household income and\n expenses.\n

An adult is any person eighteen years or older.
\n If an adult has no or minimal income, and lives with someone who\n provides financial support to them, both people shall be\n considered part of the same household.\n
\n Children under the age of eighteen living with their parents or\n guardians are part of the same household as their parents or\n guardians.\n

\n \n \n How do I know if my household qualifies for the ACP discount based\n on income?\n \n

\n Your household is eligible for ACP if your income is 200% or less\n than the Federal Poverty Guidelines. The guidelines are based on\n your household size and state. You may have to show proof of\n income, like a tax return or three consecutive pays stubs, when\n you apply for the ACP. For more information, visit\n www.affordableconnectivity.gov/do-i-qualify.\n

\n \n \n How do I apply for the ACP discount?\n \n

\n There are two steps to applying for an ACP discount on any monthly\n plan that contains data:\n

\n 1) Go to\n www.myfamilymobile.com/acp\n and fill out the online application form to determine if you are\n eligible for the ACP discount.\n
\n 2) After you receive notice that you are qualified for the ACP\n discount, go to\n www.myfamilymobile.com/acp, enter your information, and select your monthly plan.\n

\n \n \n Do I need to show proof of eligibility?\n \n

\n The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has outsourced the ACP\n approvals to the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC)\n which may ask you to send them official documents as proof that\n your household participates in one of the above government\n programs when you apply for the ACP discount. USAC's National\n Verifier will verify your identity and eligibility against\n available state, federal, and other electronic databases. If the\n National Verifier is not able to validate your eligibility with\n the available eligibility databases, applicants will need to\n provide proof of eligibility. You will be provided with\n instructions on what documentation is needed during the\n application process.\n

\n \n \n When will I get notified if I qualify?\n \n

\n Universal Service Administrative Company's National Verifier\n determines your eligibility for the ACP discount and approval\n times usually take about two business days. Please contact the\n National Verifier at 1-877-384-2575 if you have any questions\n concerning your ACP eligibility.\n

\n \n \n How will I know if I have been approved for the ACP discount?\n \n

\n You will receive an email notification from myfamilymobile after\n your ACP application has been approved. You can then select the\n monthly plan where you want your ACP discount applied.\n

\n \n \n I was denied the ACP discount, why?\n \n

\n There are a number of reasons that you may have been denied.\n Please refer to the specific denial message on the email you\n received which should explain why the Universal Service\n Administrative Company denied your application and give you\n instructions on how to re–apply.\n

\n \n \n I was told that there is an error on my application and the\n information I provided did not match with the USAC National\n Verifier. How can I correct it?\n \n

\n If your household received an email message that you have\n mismatched personal information, please return to\n www.MyACPBenefit.com/WFM\n and correct the information entered. \n If your household received an email message that you have an error\n on your ACP application, please return to\n www.MyACPBenefit.com/WFM\n and correct the information entered.\n

\n \n \n Are there any restrictions for this program?\n \n

\n Yes, there are a few simple restrictions. Affordable Connectivity\n Program (ACP) is a federal benefit program only available to\n individuals who participate in a qualifying government program or\n who are eligible based on their household's income. Only one\n benefit per household is allowed; a household is not permitted to\n receive more than one ACP benefit. An individual receiving an ACP\n benefit can transfer that benefit to another provider, but the ACP\n benefit cannot be transferred to another person. Customers must\n notify their service provider within thirty (30) days if they no\n longer qualify for the benefit.\n

\n \n \n How do I check status of my ACP application?\n \n

\n After you have successfully applied you could check the status of\n your application online by visiting\n www.MyACPBenefit.com, click the button 'My Service,' then from dropdown\n select 'Account detail' and enter your information to\n login to check enrollment status.\n

\n \n \n Can I receive the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) benefit if\n my household is already receiving the Lifeline Program benefit?\n \n

\n Yes, The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a separate\n program from the Lifeline Program. If your household qualifies for\n both programs, you can apply and receive both benefits on either\n the same service or on different services. You may also receive\n your Lifeline and ACP benefits from different providers. You are\n not required to enroll in one program to receive the other.\n

\n \n \n What if I move?\n \n

\n No problem! Just let us know your new address. You can change your\n address without reapplying if you move to an address in the same\n state. If you move to a different state, may need to complete a\n new application. To update your address, you will need to speak\n with an Enrollment Support agent at 1-833-333-9227.\n

\n \n \n If my household qualifies to receive the ACP discount, can I keep my\n phone, tablet, or hotspot and keep my number?\n \n

\n Yes. If your household is approved for the ACP discount, you can\n keep your current device (smartphone, hotspot or tablet) and your\n current phone number by contacting MyFamilyMobile at\n 1-877-440-9758 and an agent will be happy to help you. Just call\n from a different phone and have your account number and password\n handy.\n

\n \n \n Can I change my phone number and keep the ACP discount?\n \n

\n Yes. You can change your number and still retain the ACP discount.\n There are processes in place to verify if a phone number changes.\n Myfamilymobile will need to associate your new phone number with\n your ACP discount, which may delay application of the ACP discount\n to your new phone number for a brief period.\n

\n \n \n Will I keep the ACP discount forever?\n \n

\n The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) discount will stay in\n place until federal government funds allocated for the program are\n depleted and not renewed, conditions of your eligibility change,\n or your service with MyFamilyMobile ends. The ACP discount will be\n removed from your account if and when the Affordable Connectivity\n Program ends, and your rate plan will continue at full price. If\n you changed rate plans to take advantage of the ACP discount, you\n will not be placed back on the original plan.\n

\n \n \n What happens if I do not use my phone?\n \n

\n Under FCC rules, you must use your MyFamilyMobile service at least\n once every 30 days to keep your account active. Usage means\n placing or receiving a call, sending a text, or using your mobile\n data (not on a Wi–Fi network). If no activity is registered\n on your account after 30 days, you will enter a 15–day cure\n period before the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) discount\n is removed and you are de-enrolled from the Affordable\n Connectivity Program. If your ACP discount is removed due to\n inactivity, you may re–apply at any time.\n

\n \n \n If I am a current MyFamilyMobile customer, can I still apply for the\n ACP discount?\n \n

\n Yes. Current MyFamilyMobile customers may apply to see if their\n household qualifies for the ACP discount by clicking HERE. If\n their household qualifies, then they may call MyFamilyMobile at\n 1-877-440-9758 to speak to an agent and apply for the ACP\n discount. The discount may be applied to an existing\n MyFamilyMobile monthly plan at any time during the duration of the\n program. All our monthly data plans are eligible for ACP discount.\n
