cool helmet
I had my son use this while performing some wire wheel work to prevent rust fragments from reaching his face. He had no complaints; everything worked smoothly. Although I haven't welded with it yet, it served perfectly well as a face shield, and comfort wasn't an issue.

    Both useful and advantageous
    This helmet concluded all the necessary features. However, it doesn't quite achieve the level of excellence you'd find in a pricier counterpart. It's important to note that the entire helmet is made of plastic (except for the lens). The fit of the helmet is incredibly adjustable°™almost to the point of having an overwhelming number of adjustments. With time and usage, I believe these adjustments will become more refined. This helmet falls into the entry-level category, so anticipate needing to purchase another one down the line. On that note, it could be a valuable choice for discovering which features you prefer or dislike before investing in a more expensive helmet in the future.

    No longer dead on arrival!
    I truly love this welder, it works well. One noticeable difference is in color rendering. Unlike lenses that make everything look green, this one provides a more natural appearance with perhaps a slight bluish tint. The delay-time switch, used to control how long the lens stays dark after welding, is located inside, while other settings are outside. The flip-up feature for changing the front lens is a convenient addition.
