'Assembly required' concerns unwarranted
I was initially skeptical buying a sofa with 'some assembly required' but it turns out there was no need to worry with this item. No special tools required and a little over a half hour later I had a nice couch...perfect for my new apartment. The separate ottoman makes for a very versatile configuration for a chaise- right, left or none. Quality construction, easy assembly, nice looking piece all makes this a good value for the money. I can see it would be particularly useful if someone is looking to put a sofa in a room with a tight doorway...simply assemble it in that room! Very pleased and would certainly recommend!

I'm very disappointed by this
I'm very disappointed by this couch. I've already requested a return, which I hope I'm able to pack up to send back. The couch has terrible scent & once I've sat on it just 3 times, the cushion is already weekly in the spot where I've sat. Btw, I'm not overweight, so it's not related to a super heavy person.

A previous review stated the fabric is like Carhart material. I agree with that statement. My only complaint is the chaise cushion. I had to turn it around a face it towards the back. It's not straight and smooth. It's bumpy and uneven. The front of it is as well but not nearly as bad as the back. Still noticeable though. So using it as a main seat and allowing for the optional ottoman, is not an option. The feet and washers are all plastic. Good couch if needing something cheap, quickly.Shannon C.

Arrived very quickly and in great condition as expected. For buying offline without sampling I was pleasantly surprised. And for the great price it exceeds expectations. The couch itself is nice, although the measurements don't seem accurate to the description. It appears to be a lot smaller than anticipated. I was disappointed that the cushions that were vacuum sealed don't have the same firmness as the long cushion. The long cushion is so firm it makes you feel a lot taller than anyone sitting in the vacuum sealed cushions. I'm hoping it will eventually even out. If I had the choice I don't think I would order this again. But it works for my small apartment.TheMabelian

This sofa is blue!! Which just so happens to match a blanket I had and since it's in my travel trailer I didn't mind the fact that the color was not gray. The other part is the arm rest are very low which make it feel as though there are no arm rests at all. I don't know that I would use this as an everyday sofa/couch unless I was in a very small living space where a more quality couch wouldn't fit.phillipsphamily
