Absorbent & Comfortable!
These underwear and very comfortable, they have a wide band at the top that doesn't roll. I am 5'3” 105 lbs. and the 12/14 girls size surprisingly fit me nicely. I could see how these could offer a protection for a younger girl that may have a lighter menstrual cycle. I will be using these for days that I have a heavier flow for extra leakage protection. The cut of the underwear have a full coverage and are a nice material. The crotch has an added layer of absorption. They also wash well!

Not leakproof
It was supposed to be leakproof, and they weren't. My daughter leaked through at school. Luckily, she was wearing a dress and not pants or shorts and she would've been imbarrased.

    get the right size
    Loved the colors but they were not big enough for my 12yr old tween but I'm keeping them for the next tween coming up she is a smaller person. Great idea and concept. Had to order a women's size.

    More like back up protection
    These underwear aren't meant to be worn by themselves, they are meant to be worn as a back up in case of leaks. It wasn't very clearly stated. The outer material is soft and provides a full coverage fit, but the inner part feels a little like a vinyl covered mattress. They will do fine for back up, but should really be considered menstrual underwear.

    These look just like regular underwear but there is an absorbent panel along the middle all the way up the back. A pad or tampon must still be worn but the panel gives protection against leaks into clothes. They look stylish with the colored trim on the black panty. The material is soft and comfortable. They didn't shrink or lose their shape after washing and drying on regular cycles. My daughter was fine with wearing them and I think she liked having the extra protection. Middle school is hard enough without having to worry about leaks. I'm glad I could give her that extra piece of mind with these panties.

    These are FANTASTIC for tweens!
    I was so excited to receive the panties, as I knew my tween would experience her first period at some point and as fate would go these arrived in the mail right at the very start of her first one. I had already bought pads, but when I showed my daughter these panties she immediately asked for them instead. I love that they look like regular panties. The only thing different is that there is a thin layer of extra material in the lining, which I'm assuming contains some type of waterproof fabric. The waistband is thick and soft, keeping the panties up. The fabric of both the main AND liner are very soft and the fit is perfect for her age and size. I asked her how they did and she said that they were very comfortable. I love that these come in a three pack- I would love it even more if they came with more but I can always buy multiple packs. I will DEFINITELY be buying several more of these as they are perfect for my child, discreet, and comfortable. Recommend!

    When I saw INNERSY Period Panties for Girls Cotton Menstrual Underwear for First Period Starter 3-Pack, I knew they were going to be perfect for my daughter. She is a teen and well Mother Nature don't care about your schedule. After looking at her measurements, I chose the size and crossed my fingers. When they arrived, I fell in love with the look of this underwear. They appear to be just another pair of panties, but they are so much more. The fit is perfect with no gathering in weird places or anything like that. The waistband is a bit wider than normal panties, but not irregular looking or anything like that. They fit her body like they were specifically made just for her. She reports that the panty kept everything in place, and performed the job they were made to perform. We have washed them; they survived the regular wash cycle with cold water with no issues. The black color is just like new so no issues with fading or loss of shape or fit. I will return to buy enough to last her through all of those dreadful days. Thanks for a well-made product!

    Perfect for preteens
    I like the cut, The material is a little stiff like these kind are but I found it softer than other brands. The colors are great, I like the black because stains won't show ever. The absorbing material is great, I use it for all sorts of days, sweaty, period etc and I found them not only comfortable to wear throughout the day but absorbent enough for non period days and it says to put a pad or similar on period days and it's amazing, no leaks. Kid loves them!
