Easy to use and reliable
I have been using APC UPS for quite some time and this size and weight of this unit is very user friendly. I support life safety systems that can't go down and APC has protected my equipment and kept things going when the power goes out.

Doesn't last very long.
I have a tower PC and monitor hooked up, with a small router and phone, and the battery doesn't even last 10 minutes from full, with the PC idling. It drains so quick I can literally watch the squares in the battery icon go away the minutes I watch. This should get me a good half an hour at least, but comes nowhere close. I'm going to look elsewhere for UPS during my next purchase, which will probably be soon since this one doesn't seem to really work well.

    Nice UPS
    Got this to replace little 250w Apc I had(put in my sons room for his series x and such) and so far this new one runs great 0 issue's and like that I can also run my hard line though as well as serial line for power chute app!

    Failed out of the box
    Bought this to replace a unit I had which was showing an F02 Error, battery short. Plugged the unit in, with no load attached, and immediately got the same error on the brand new unit out of the box. Took almost an hour to get tech support to tell me the new unit was bad and would have to be replaced. I kindly declined their offer and will look elsewhere for a replacement.

    Good Product - No Mac Software Support :(
    it's a pretty good product. Overall solid support - and I have 3 of these in my home. one for my home office and one for each home theater setup. I live in Florida - the lightning capital of the Western hemisphere, and these do a good job. But I'm unable to log into these these boxes, because there is not software written for Mac OS, which is completely unacceptable today

    One failed out-of-box, but replacement is working
    Bought 3, had to return and reorder one since it failed to power on. Walmart made it VERY easy to return (thanks), and the replacement one works fine. Only been in use a week, so no info yet on their reliability.

    Great value and features for my customers
    I've purchased several of these APC 1500 Pro backup units for my customers and couldn't be more please. Great value and features. LCD makes it easy to check status and health of unit. This is my "go to" for most server and network deployments.
