This bike rack has changed my life for the best. i have a nissan versa, so i would have to take the wheels and steering wheel off which was an extra hour of just preparing them to go. well since my purchase it only takes me 5 min to mount them on my cars booty and its ready to go. definitely worth the $50 that could've gone for the g's, ;) anyways it also makes my rides gangstalicious. definitely recommend my people.

Cost effective with added tie-downs
It fits 2015 Prius (don't know about the V). For long distance and high freeway speeds, I sup it up with ratchet tie-downs, soft loop, and carabiner. It will also be fast to load and unload. The fastening system works but I won't go back to it compared to rachets. So I would like to see hooking points or loops for customers' own tie-downs. The side webbings go into the two load bearing rings inside the trunk near the backseats. The stopper at the back door will also stop the side webbings from moving off its position. The lower horizontal bar rest on the top of the license plate. There is a slight possibility that the bike carrier frame touches the paint there. I wrap the metal frame with an inch wide of extreme tape, self-sealing silicone tape. I also wrap the metal hooks with a little tape that could reduce the possibility of the hooks scratching a little paint on the side, and reduce the possibility of making noises. The carrier didn't make any noise at speed and didn't shift a bit after a 300-mile journey. Picture shows 1st test without tie-downs. And I brought a frame adaptor bar from the same company so the bike doesn't go up like that.

    It's a good rack. Once secure, but a bit troublesome to put in place. Need patience, because of all the straps. The straps are very long and get tangled Nonetheless, the rack is good and I like it

    Good, well-priced bike rack
    Bought this for a 2014 Nissan Versa Note 5-door hatchback and works well. Beginning takes a little time to set up but once done, easy to install and remove in a few minutes each time. Straps hooked into the lip of my trunk door and then tighten the straps to ensure a tight, stable fit. However, I'd say it only can accommodate two adult mountain bikes. Might get three, slim road bikes on here, but I don't have three, so can't be sure. Easy to use, and drove it 250 miles in one shot without any problems, though checked the straps were tight halfway through.

    wgat I was looking for
    so far so good. have not gone far distance yet but seems pretty sturdy. wasn't sure if it would fit my vehicles but proce was worth trying. it fits both my 2010 subaru forester and 2017 nissan rogue

    Sturdy and Easy to Install!
    Last weekend I was thoroughly frustrated when my kids and I were invited to go bike riding with some friends at a local park, and I had no way of bringing our bikes in my car! We brought scooters instead, which was fun, but not the experience we really wanted. Today I happened across this contraption marked down to $25, and thought I'd give it a try. It was super easy and quick to install, and I was immediately impressed by the sturdiness. The straps are clearly marked so that you know exactly where they go. The bar that holds the bike has six "grips", two for each bike, with its own strap attachment that really wenches them in tightly. I had no problem getting all 3 bikes to fit (one child's with training wheels, one child's 24", and one adult mountain bike). I pushed and shoved it around, and nothing budged! I definitely suggest getting some bungee cords to strap the wheels together so they don't swivel while going down the road. I just can't say enough good things about this bike carrier. Well made. I'm very pleased!

    Okay. I will start by saying that I've only used it once, so I don't know how long it lasts, but need to say WOW. First time ever using this and although I was scared the entire drive from the store to my house with the bike hanging on it, just bought a bike today, but once I got out the car and check if the strap was still tight, it really was. I will definitely drive with more ease next time. Definitely recommend it.

    Fit my SUV after all
    My husband and I decided to go ahead a buy this rack, even after the box said it would not fit my Mitsubishi outlander, just because the price was so good and it was convenient to get. Got it home and it worked and fits perfectly fine!!! Drove on “county” roads (turns, bumps, curves), and bikes stayed in place. It did cover part of my license plate, but it was not enough to harm anything. 100% would recommend.
