Great Antenna for the money!
I finally axed the cable connection because of the ever increasing expense, and bought the Clear Stream Eclipse because I live in a suburban area, about 7 to 8 miles from the broadcast towers of many stations. The antenna cable was easy to hook up to the back of the HDTV I have, and put the Antenna about 6.5 feet high, just above and behind my HDTV, and wow, what great reception! I get about 20 channels that are crystal clear and in 1080p format. I also have NetFlix, and one other way to watch shows and TV series, but having this option to see local news, sports, weather and other local shows is great! I am so happy with this model, I just ordered a second one, for my 2nd HDTV. If you live in suburbia, you will not be dissappointed with this Antenna! Doesn't work in ground floor my apartment
I purchased this antenna based on reviews from friends and independent research. Unfortunately, the antenna has not worked well for me. I am on a ground floor apartment in New York City and I'm only able to get a 2 channels. I've moved the antenna to windows and tried to create a good line of sight for it but nothing has worked. Can't be sure this is a problem with the antenna or my location but I can say this antenna is not a 100% solution.

    Little guy gets it done
    I am happy with this antenna and receive all the local channels I should. The antenna is easy to hide and even if not out of view is kinda cool looking. If you are not out supper far from city broadcast towers you should grab this one for sure.

    I am technologically challenged. I am also really lousy at putting things together. Imagine my surprise when I had installed the antenna on the tv, attached it to the wall, and the son of a red haired dog actually worked, and all within the space of less than 5 minutes. It isn't often I write a favorable review of a piece of technology, but in this case, I am happy to recommend it to everybody!

    Doing the job very nicely
    I bought this antenna as part of my cable-cutting strategy. I don't think I'm exactly pushing its range limits, being fairly close to the local broadcast antennas, but I have consistently been getting a nice clear picture on pretty much all the channels I was hoping to pick up. That doesn't even seem to depend much on which direction I point it in, meaning I have been able to position it more for aesthetics than performance. Antenna performance varies with signal bearing of course, but at least in my case, the signal is still good enough. Your mileage may vary. I feel this antenna is providing very good value for money, so am quite pleased with my purchase.

    Perfect for Me!
    I'm not a technical person at all, but this antenna was easy to set up (although I realized very quickly that I needed a converter box first), and I now have 18 FREE channels! This is great, because I didn't buy the strongest antenna out there and I thought perhaps I'd have to exchange it for a more expensive one, but this one is ample for my needs, and I even receive MORE channels than the 9 to 11 that were predicted for my area.     So great that I bought 2 more for my parents!
    I didn't have a lot of hope for this antenna since the local transmitter towers are north of my house and I had to hang the antenna on the south side in a densely populated neighborhood full of stucco homes. But, I was gleefully wrong! We get more stations than with the basic cable we had with Xfinity and the reception is much better. I bought 2 more for my parents and they are equally thrilled with their results. Now if only I could figure out how to get internet service with an antenna so I could cut all ties to cable companies altogether! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    The antenna works well for us in Queens NY, in a suburban neighborhood with lots of trees less than 15 miles from the signal tower. Sometimes there is a bit of breakup but we can't determine why-might be the broadcast or the wind. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
