Great outdoors, horrible indoors.
NOT GOOD AS INDOOR ANTENNA. AWESOME OUTDOOR ANTENNA. I'm beginning to think there really are no indoor antennas that work. So you can't hold that against this one. Once put outside on pole up about 16 feet..performed AMAZING. Great picture. Pointed towards Manhattan and ALSO get other channels from broadcast antennas in completely the opposite direction WITHOUT requiring rotation..most of the stations are about 40 miles from me and I get them all. A DEFINITE buy.

Antenna
I got this antenna hoping it would work on our tv in the garage. To say the least it did not work, could not pick up any channels at all. We tried the antenna inside and outside in many different directions to get a signal. We had this down, up in the air and nothing. I then took this in the house to try on different TV's and still did not get a signal. Maybe others would have better luck with this than we did.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/15/2023Clearstream antenna gives good resultsI live about an hour from a major city but it's a TV fringe area When I moved here years ago my rabbit ears and UHF loop just didn't work so I signed up for cable just like all my neighbors. Over the years cable cost has gone up and up. With the latest enormous cost increase I decided to try an antenna but which one? Using antennaweb (.org) and zooming in my location I could see the antenna directions didn't match any of my walls so a wall mount was out. Using otadtv (.com) and sorting TV transmitter towers by signal strength I could see some were in the VHF-H band so I decided on the Clearstream MAX-V which covers both UHF and VHF-H. Hardware includes both wall mount and mast clamp. The manufacture sells a table stand for the unit if you didn't wall mount, but I found a different solution. see Indoor TV Antenna Mount at instructables (.com) and you will see a Clearstream antenna mounted on a pole in a living room. My version very similar only I used an old pole lamp with a PVC coupler and a 1" Dow rod on top so that the antenna is nearly at my ceiling. They do look like modern art by Joan Miró. I had hoped to get maybe 2 towers with maybe a dozen channels. Connecting up a RG6 cable (never use RG59) and doing a cable scan I got 39 channels from 6 towers. Four of the towers (31 channels) provided solid (no-pixel) video and the other two were badly pixelated. Rotating the antenna didn't help much. Pixulation is caused by weak digital signal not able to complete all the areas of the screen. The fix can be a TV amplifier. I had ordered a $17 one but it was taking a long delivery time so I ordered a $45 one from a manufactured which can in 2 days. That one cleared up the two stations so I have a total of 39 channels with little duplication. Yes the VHF-H ( that's the rods sticking out of the figure-8) do work, it found one that is viewable with only occasional pixels. I'm not counting that in my channel total. The amplifier also found a few others channels but they were highly pixelated. One of those was from 60 miles away in the opposite direction (back side of antenna). None of this is the fault of the antenna nor the amplifier but rather my location and not having my antenna on a mast above my roof line. I am quite happy with the results from the Clearstream antenna and I think you would be too.CableCuttinBill

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/06/2023It's okI live on a second floor condo. It doesn't preform any better then the cheap ones I've found. Have a cheap one and it's getting more channels. I believe it will be better when I get it outside. If you are looking for an indoor antenna by the cheap ones you can find anywhere. Outside I will recommend be just by holding it outside it did betterSir Richard

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/05/2023Good for all channels except Very Lo VHF Channel 2I live in suburban Philadelphia and the antenna is on a shelf in my bedroom. It gets all UHF channels and VHF channels 6 and 12 (RF channel 13) really well. But the VHF elements are too short to get MeTV Channel 2 (RF channel 2). If you don't have any very low VHF channels you want to get this is an excellent antenna, otherwise get something with longer than the 30 inch width VHF elements this antenna has, like 32 inches or more.Richard

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/20/2022Crystal Clear 31 Channels in TallahasseeThis antenna brings in crystal clear pictures. I have it connected to a Tablo DVR and get 31 local channels. The major networks come in at 1080 resolution. The picture is the same in good weather and bad. I highly recommend this antenna, there is no reason to pay for network TV anymore...Unknown

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/14/2022Simple, space saver Great receptionThis space saver replacing a "yagi" design very similar to the 91XG Unidirectional Long--Range Antenna. My old antenna was a model purchased from these guys 6 yrs. ago. 65" boom. Worked great; however, "she" complained Too Big. This new one 65 channels split between 14 different broadcasters. This weekend big Snow event, icing, snow, freezing rain and 35-50mph winds a-coming. Good test for wind load and resistance. The old antenna did rock&roll a bit in high gusts, we will compare.BigBradF
