My RH200 has been fantastic.
I bought the RH200 years ago because the rivet gun I had had lost its grip on rivets. A recommendation from a friend suggested I get an Arrow. It has worked every time I have needed it. I've used it around the house and in the shop for all kinds of projects. Unfortunately it has finally given up the ghost. It broke today. I have borrow something else to finish my latest project.

Spring broke after about 500 rivits
The spring broke in two after about 500 rivits using aluminum rivits into copper and tin. I was only using 1/8' staples

    Good for all your projects
I found this Rivet gun to be very useful in all my projects may they be big or small. I have had it a while and it is very handy and fits in your hand may it be big or small.

    Deficient design
This tool works - sets rivets - but fell apart with infrequent and light use because the pin slid out on its own. I neither pushed it nor turned it; it just slid past the spring which isn't under tension until the handles are squeezed. I reassembled correctly, making sure the flat side of the pin was down toward the spring and that the spring was seated in the flat side of the pin. I pushed on the slotted end of the pin and, voila'; it slid right past the spring again. After reinserting the pin and working it a bit to make sure the spring was fully settled in the flat seat, it seems to be staying in place, but I'm not confident it won't happen again and that the next time I'll be able to recover the parts. The tool isn't worn out (or maybe it is). I've only used it - lightly and carefully - a dozen times at most. It still looks like new, and I store it within a bag, protected and inside a sturdy container, and only take it out for infrequent DIY-level use; light repairs and such. The handle/lever design sorely needs improvement. Long handles for adequate leverage mean they open very wide, making the tool awkward and tedious to use, especially when workspace is tight, for all but users with very large hands. Thumb-to-index finger handle spread is about six inches; should be no more than four. But it's the same design that has been around for decades, so why change it; right? A double-pivot lever would provide at least as much barrel travel with far less handle travel, and would require minimally significant increased pressure to close the handles when installing a rivet. Or a ratchet handle, producing necessary barrel travel with multiple squeezes on the handles. If I were engaged in such things I would at least explore some different design concepts. I mean no ill will toward the company, its employees and/or those engaged in the product's production, distribution and sales, and hope my comments are construed as constructive criticism, not invective.

Easy to use, can accommodate various size rivets, and can get to tight places.
I bought this to do a quick repair at my place of work. I can see many more applications for its use. It's a well designed tool and has good grips that don't slip. I would recommend this to any handy man or those doing light repair work....good to have at your disposal.

    Arrow Tools last for generations
Most women don't get excited about tools but growing up with a dad who was a mechanic and a staunch DIY'er, I love tools and loved watching him use his collection of tools. My dad passed in 2013 and left all his hand tools to me instead of my brother who as a mechanic already has his own collection. Dad always said "girls need tools too". I was about to buy a cheap knockoff rivet tool for a craft project, but remembered an unopened box of dad's tools downstairs. Well, I opened the box and there was his Arrow Rivet Tool RH200, unfortunately the plastic case was crushed and broken, but the tool was in perfect condition. I was so thrilled to find it again and now I only have to buy the rivets. Thank you Arrow for making quality tools that can last generations! I know my dad is smiling watching me use his Arrow Rivet Tool. Yes, I would reccomend Arrow Tools to everyone!

    It worked
After fighting with a Dewalt rivet gun - I went out and got this - did the job - I noted that the Dewalt rivets were a "smidge longer" in the 1/8 size than the Arrow's - both worked but had to finish the job with the other guys rivets and the Arrow gun

Good for drop ceiling and guttering
This pop rivet gun is comfortable hold with an easy squeeze handle. I really liked the way that it seats and secures a tight rivet when complete. Would like to add that it leaves clean paint on the rivet.

    First time riveter
This is my first rivet gun and used in lieu of self tapping screws or other alternatives for repair of a metal gutter. Using the 1/8 rivets, aluminum, I found the item very easy to use, single handed, made for quick work and looks great! Not sure why I waited so long to bond metals/items this way.
