Great value
I was looking for a while for a car seat for my daughter who is about ready to give me a grandchild. I was shocked at the high prices on these car seats. This car seat comes with the base that is convenient for getting the baby in and out of the car easily. The price was right and it is exactly what I needed.

Baby sits upright head falls forward
1 year in. Handle wiggles and doesn't feel sturdy. Baby is sitting upright. Buckle is not engineered with a growing wiggly baby in mind as it takes some serious maneuvering to clip in even if the baby is sitting still. I've owned a couple of other infant car seats before and this one is the worst. My sons head had fallen forward, this is how UPRIGHT the seat is. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY and don't get this one!

    Its nice... but there is a con
    The bottom buckle is difficult to use. Its a rough metal and you have to position it just right or the buckle will not go in or gets stuck. Design wise thats the only con.

    I bought this to replace my expired Baby Trend Flex-Loc infant carseat. I am pleased that it fits the old bases that I have leftover from the expired carseat. Having used a Flex-Loc infant carseat already, I am happy with the updated version and have no complaints.

    Holds my infant at 5lbs perfectly. Perfect head support from little to big. A little bit heavier then most carseats in my opinion. I like the triangle handle for adjusting a comfortable hold. And the base has adjustments to fit any seat in your car. Looks and works great! Use it with a baby trend sit and stand stroller.

    Kept baby safe in accident!!
    My inlaws bought this carsear as part of the expedition travel system. Last night I totalled my car and my baby was perfectly safe in this carseat. I am buying me another one and I will probably always use Baby Trend!
