Sturdy and nice finish
I love the finish on the cubby. Its not difficult to put together and its sturdy. Great for my crafts and every day clothes. I have one 6-cube and two 4-cube organizer. I was concerned with how the package looked when it arrived. The corners were bad on the package. But when I opened it, the corners were well protected.

Garbage product not worth the money
These shelves are garbage. They use plastic dowels to hold the shelves together and the shelves themselves are made of hollow press board. The shelves aren't made even so it's a struggle.to put them together tight and even after the plastic dowels break and split the shelves. You'd be better off buying plywood and nailing it together.

    No longer a good sturdy organizer. Would not buy!
    Not the same as the cubes organizers we bought two years ago. QUALITY VERY POOR! These organizers used to be great but now they are weak and flimsey. Dowels used to be wooden and now they are PLASTIC that flex and bend. NO CAM SCREWS THROUGHT THE WHOLE BUILD. Now you have 4. It is also SMALLER. They've take away from the trim and the inserts. So if you are trying to match up sizes, you can't. I will not be purchasing this brand again. . Price is still the same as what we paid for the last BH7G 6 cube organizer.

    Affordable shelving solution
    This was super quick and easy to assemble for me to do on my own while my husband was at work. My only advice is to make sure you line everything up before tightening the screws. Otherwise I would say it took me 30 minutes on my own and I'm not handy at all.

    Lighter weight and higher quality than I expected!
    I was really surprised to discover that, unlike similar furniture items I've bought and put together, this does not weigh a ton and was easy to put together. The pre-drilled holes were actually aligned and everything fit where it was supposed to. I bought it to use as a wine bar, so had also ordered the "X" pieces to hold wine. Other reviews pointed out that the X pieces were actually designed for a previous version of this cube and didn't fit these cubes well. That was not my experience. They slid right in, perfectly. And the espresso color matched the Tobacco Oak color perfectly. The finish is slightly different, with the X pieces being a little shinier than the Tobacco oak, but you hardly notice that at all, with so little of the surface visible -- especially once the wine is loaded in. I also bought a wine glass holder, but they were out of the espresso color, so I will have to paint or stain and install that later. In the meantime, I also bought some BHG baskets in which to store mixers for our bar (which is just a few feet away). I plan to buy a remnant of granite or quartz to go on the top, so I did not install the plastic plugs to cover the screws on the top. Even without that, I think it looks amazing -- and it was so easy to do!

    Sturdy, simple, and beautiful.
    I have always bought the cheap, store-brand cube organizers in the past and haven't had any issues, but this time I decided to splurge and get a more expensive one. I am VERY happy I did. The difference between this organizer and the cheaper ones it night and day. It is very sturdy and super quick to put together. Works great for toy storage, but also looks nice!

    My Dream Craft Room Remodel
    In planning my craft room remodel I researched for a couple of months. I really liked the Ikea Kallax cube system, just not the price! Then I happened upon these organizers. I knew I wanted doors and drawer inserts from Ikea and compared the cubby sizes. By all indications, they were exactly the same! So, I ordered three! Well, they arrived, I put them together, and started on the drawers and doors. The inserts did not fit, try as I may. Not to be defeated, I used them as intended, one on each end and one in the middle of the 4 x 8 workspace top. Perfect. I am able to use the middle one to store my excess 12x12 paper and it is pretty hidden. The organizers at each end work perfectly for storing the plastic drawer units I already had in the craft room. I love the 13 inch size of each cubby. They are perfect for 12x12 papers and cardstock. So, grab them and start organizing. Just don't expect the Ikea Kallax inserts to fit! The first picture shows my 4x8 workspace with the organizers on each end and the Winsome Wood Halifax drawer set. The second shows one end and a peek of the middle shelf underneath.

    Easy to assemble. Sturdy. Exactly what I needed
    This may have been the easiest thing I have ever put together. Only 8 screws and the rest is put together using dowels. All the holes lined up like they should have. It is very sturdy. I am using it for kids toys.

    Sturdy and great for the price
    It's sturdy however we aren't crazy about the finish texture, but that's just us. We will be returning for the book shelf that has more if a wood grain look. Again that's just us. This does look good in the playroom for our grandkids

    Natural is not the same color as pictured!!!!
    Wrong color. Similar to another review, I ordered natural and received rustic gray. Box says natural and so does paperwork but it's clearly the gray. Completely different color than the photo shows.

    Nice looking cube organizer
    Great shelf. Love the cube size. One piece of shelving was damaged. I was disappointed so I called the number on the instructions. Customer service rep was wonderful. She will be sending out a replacement piece.
