Pile of trash
This is the absolute worst quality furniture I've ever bought. Just trying to sit it upright made it split in 2 pieces with pieces flying everywhere. They warn you not to put any pressure on the right frame and we lifted from the bottom of the other side, set it up as they show on the left side but it still broke to pieces It also scratched horribly just trying to put it together and every edge was damaged in shipping. I've bought and built a lot of cheap furniture but never seen anything so bad. You'd be just as sturdy building your desk out of cardboard.

    This item was shipped quickly and I hoped that it would be as nice as the photos. It was! It is a gorgeous big desk, which was what I was looking for. The ash color with the gold is very nice. The drawers aren't super deep but have enough space for supplies that you may reach for on a regular basis. It took two of us an hour and a half to get together. We had no issues with the instructions, they were pretty straightforward.

    This is not an easy product to put together!!! There is a note in the instructions that states "Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will this desk" and its true took me 3 days to put it together by myself. Overall love the product. Its very heavy and sturdy.

    Do not buy
    The package was shipped with the tools tapped to the outside of the package. When it was delivered I was missing nearly all of the screws. Therefore I could not put it together.

    Nice quality, service and instruction.
    The desk arrived with the box broken at the cavity where small parts were stored. One small piece was missing. Sauder.com quickly replaced the item. It took many hours to put together. The instructions have jokes in them. I like the gold screws facing out. Very nice looking desk. I recommend 2 people put it together. Also, step 3 in instructions needs a picture to understand, "use the 3rd hole from each end of rail". I had to redo this step.

    Quality Build It Yourself Desk
    There are a lot of pieces, though less than I was anticipating. Took me about 3.5 hours from the time unpacking to completing. I take time to check that all supplies are accounted for as well as follow each step picture for picture, word for word. Instructions were easy to follow. Give yourself ample workspace as the majority of the desk is put together upside down and then you will need room to flip over. It does say to have a second person help, but I am 4'10 and was easily able to flip the desk myself. Make sure the plastic "feet" are inserted on the correct ends (mine were not). Do this before you start to assemble. Once put together, this seems like a quality desk that will serve its purpose perfectly for my home Office. If you are looking for ample workspace, this would be the desk. It is not the desk if you are needing storage.

    The package was extremely heavy to move around. Took 2 strong people to move it. Took us almost 5 hours to install it. This desk is worth every penny! Solid and clean look. Very spacious L-shaped desk. Best price at Walmart!!

    This is a great desk! The instructions were easy to follow, it turned out really nice. It is very heavy and excellent quality for not being solid wood. It is also a really good size with plenty of space and storage. Perfect for working from home.
