Loved how easy this crossbow was to sight in and how amazingly accurate I was able to shoot it. 5 shots and I was dialed in at 20 then backed up to 60 just to see how perfect it was and I put the arrow in the exact same hole as my 20 yard shot! Amazingly accurate crossbow and the adjustable stock feature is awesome to help fit all different body sizes. Overall a great crossbow and I cant wait to put down a buck with it this fall!

missing a cap for the scope .
happy with the crossbow but not very happy with the scope . One of the caps for adjusting the windage was missing. Would of gave 5 stars if it wasn't for that .

    Best crossbow you can get for under $1,000 dollars I've killed a elk at 70 yards and a mule deer at 40. Both of them only went 60 yards. You will not regret getting this crossbow cp400

    I LOVE my CP 400!! I purchased my CP 400 a couple months ago. I had always used a compound bow, but as I have gotten older (now 52) I was contemplating moving to a crossbow. I had debated for a few weeks, between the CenterPoint and the Ravin models. The CP 400 won out, because of the more affordable price. Other than price, the crossbow is nearly identical to the Ravin. Setup was very easy, and the instructions are completely understandable. My first shot at the target at 20 yards hit about 12 inches low. The bolt/arrow went directly into the treated 2x4 support I use for my target. I figured the bolt was ruined. I got my circular saw and safely cut the 2x4 to remove the bolt. Incredibly the bolt looked fine, so I loaded it back into the CP 400 and fired it again. (After making some scope adjustments). The bolt fired perfectly and the adjustment was about half of what was needed. The bolts are incredibly tough and even after going through the 2x4, it flew flawlessly. After 2 more adjustments and 2 more shots, my 4th shot hit bullseye. I was stoked to say the least. The gradations on the custom scope are PERFECT for each distance. I have shot deer at 50 yards with this crossbow, and never even practiced at that distance. The internal gradations built into the scope are automatically correct, when using the CP 400 bolts/arrows. My first few shots with the CP 400, I was annoyed by the slightly longer than average trigger pull. But after a few shots, it is easy to get accustomed to. I have not even noticed it when hunting. In my opinion, that is the only blemish ( a small one) on this crossbow. The adjustable stock, makes it easy to fit anyone, with a 2 second adjustment. My wife has shot this crossbow several times, and hit bullseye every time. And she doesn't hunt. My 79 yr old dad, has shot this crossbow, and hit bullseye. It is easily used by ANYONE. Shot after shot has been perfectly accurate, even when being shot by different people. This crossbow is balanced and easy to control and hold steady, even when shooting offhand. The optional silent crank is nice but not necessary. I purchased the crank to use while in a tree stand, with anticipation of not being able to use the rope pull in a climber. I have learned to load the bow before going up the tree, so I haven't even used the silent crank yet while in the woods. Its nice, but I have not found it an absolute necessity. This bow has shot through a 300 pound buck like he was a paper target. It has shot through a treated 2x4 (4" side") and not hurt the arrow. I'm not sure what anyone else could ask it to do. other than also do the field dressing and dragging.

    I love the simplicity yet complex nature of this bow. Taking the helicoil technology in a compact limb design and collapsible stock and comfortable grip and forearm. Makes this crossbow the most comfortable I've ever shot. Deadly accurate, devastating speed, ergonomic design, outstanding stock scope...at the price point, it's unmatched.

    Absolutely amazed at the quality and performance.
    I gotta day I was shocked when purchasing a crossbow from Walmart that it would have insanely accuracy right out of the box! This thing is a tac driver, super sleek design smooth draw, impressive speed and a darn good scope to be honest. Had a few friends over who chuckled as I was getting mine all set up not 30 minutes later they were all wanting to shoot it and couldnt believe how it compared to or surpassed they're $2000 set ups. Needless to say 3 of my 6 buddies were headed to Walmart to score one for themselves. Very happy consumer/hunter here headed out to fill the freezer with this new centerpoint crossbow.

    Its a beast
    Love my CP400, its very compact an really light compared to other crossbows Ive shot. Comes with or without a cranking system. I went with the cocker string which is really easy to use. Bought it for the family an everyone seems to love it. Took me 5 shots to get it dialed in an its dead on at 60 yards. My 5 year old loves it. Highly recommend getting getting one.

    Super accurate hard hitting crossbow
    This thing is a tack driver. I love how narrow it is when cocked. Makes it super easy to carry in the woods and even better when sitting in a blind. For the price I I think this is the best crossbow you can get. Super fast at 400 FPS and as quiet as any other crossbow Ive Used.

    This is a great crossbow for the price. It has many of the features of higher end crossbows. How they can delivery a crossbow of this quality and speed, I don't know. It's an extremely fast crossbow! Less than 20 shots to get it all sighted in. I am ready for deer season!
