CC with GTV is Awesome
After using this device for about two weeks now, I can say, it is probably the best streaming device out there. I believe I have a second revision of the device, first gen apparently had performance issues, I have not. As a YouTube TV subscriber, this thing does everything I could want and more. Live and DVR library integration is awesome, easy to use and fast. The Google assistant button works on every app I've tried as well, unlike competitor devices. Access to the Google Play store is also very nice, again much better than competitors. My family really enjoys the Google photos integration for ambient mode. This devices does not feel tied to services. That's the best part, your search results show many other ways to watch things your interested in. I do wish it came with the ethernet adapter, but wifi works great for video streaming. Tested Stadia and Geforce Now gaming, works good, probably much better with ethernet.

    Nice idea - HORRIBLE REMOTE
    Remote started overheating badly after 2-3 months and would go through batteries on only a few days. Then it stopped working completely. Going through their Warranty dept for a replacement was hugely inefficient and ultimately unsatisfying. Each time a different excuse was given and they pretended not to know of the issue though there are pages of the same problem with any internet search. They would not issues a warranty replacement without the original box which if course no one keeps for months.

    it was not a combo just a Chromecast. no funko pop. dissatisfied. still very doable. so no love lost but the expectation was not exceeded none the less. thank you.
