    A good value for the money!
    A few items in the set-up section of the owners' manuals are hard to understand. Overall the unit works quite well. We bought this phone to replace the very same model and type that had served us well for many years but recently started draining the batteries and needing charged very frequently. If we get 8-10 years out of this unit we will be well pleased!

    Came on time. Easy directions to follow. Easy to hear once I got the tone set right. It is so easy to see who is calling much better then the cheap Vtech I replaced. The buttons are large enough so my tremors don,t make me mess up when dialing. I like that it takes AAA rechargeable batteries so I shouldn't have to worry about them being discontinued or hard to get. I've only had it a few days will update if somthing is bad as time goes on so far I love it.

    Great Phone for Seniors
    The Clarity D703 is a good choice for anyone, especially those with some hearing loss. It has good amplification when you choose to use it by simply pressing a button. The keypad has large, illuminated numbers and the directory is easy to program.

    Base doesn't read handsets
    I bought this base and 2 handsets for my elderly mother. It claims louder volume and larger screen letters. When trying to register the handsets to the base, the base did not respond as the directions said. The handset that came with the base would not show the phone number for caller ID and often showed a blank screen. We finally used the 3rd handset in place of the main one. I was not able to unregister the handsets as per the directions. So instead of 3 working handsets, my mother only has 2. The handsets were bought through Walmart.com but unable to be returned to the store because of being an independent seller. I am therefore stuck with one unworking handset.
