Saved our sanity!
So, we actually came upon this product out of desperation. We have a 6 year old cat that had a hind leg amputated due to cancer. After his recovery, he absolutely refused to use his litter box, even though we never had this issue before the surgery. It was extremely frustrating, and after multiple visits to the vet, pheromones, medications, behavior modification, and trying every single cat litter we could find....nothing worked, and we were beside ourselves. We actually contemplated taking him to the shelter, but knew that was not an option - he is a member of our family and his chances of surviving would be slim, due to his being a tripod cat. I happened to see this product and bought a small bag to try. He took to it immediately! We lock him in a kitty playpen at night, and he is allowed to roam the house (under supervision) throughout the day. He has consistently used this paper litter, and we could not be happier. Thank you producing this quality, soft, environmental friendly product!

BAD SMELL
I have been using this product for years with no problems. The past several bags have had a foul odor to them. I thought maybe it was just a bad bag, but now every bag I buy has that same foul odor. It smells like there is a dead mouse in the bag.

    Don't recommend
    It's not the best smelling, and I changed my bedding to this brand and it gave my hamster mites. My hamster ended up scratching his eye till it became blind due to the mites provided by this bedding. My rabbit seems to be fine with it. Just be careful when using it.

    Too expensive too small
    $10 for such a little bag wouldn't have bought if I knew how tiny it would be. Look at size compared to a 4 year old, doesn't reach to his knees.

    Wouldn't recommend
    Bought this for my hamster since the store was out of my usual kind. At first there wasn't any issues. A few days in i noticed that my hamsters cage, along with the area surrounding his cage, was covered in white dust! This included the accessories in the cage (house, wheel, chew sticks, toys), cage bars, desk he sits on, tv by him, and my black curtains behind him. After this i started having some other issues. My Hamster is a long haired Syrian male, the bedding got tangled in his long hair and gave him dreadlocks that i had to cut off. I have never had this problem with other bedding before. This company has also updated their packaging. On the packaging it reads that it expands 3x its volume, There was absolutely NO expanding when taking it out of the package. It was also a pain to clean up compared to other beddings ive used. The only reason ive given this product 2 stars instead on 1 is because it does have good odor control and it is quite absorbent (as stated on new packaging). Still wouldn't recommend though

    Works pretty well
    I use this for my gerbil but in the past have had hampsters that used it and it just smelled pretty mild. Would definitely recommend it with a little layer of Timothy hay or Timothy hay plus on top, the mix of smells is extremely mild. I currently have been using the Timothy hay plus with no sines of Oder, just makes my gerbil happy to have it.

    Smells like a dead rat
    We just purchased a bag of critter care natural bedding and it smells like a dead rat! As soon as we opened the bag our whole living room smelled. I couldn't figure it out and then smelled inside the bag of bedding and the smell is definitely from your product. Awful.

    Amazing product !
    My guinea pig loves this bedding. I've used all kinds of colors and varieties. I love the different color options so when you want to change something up you can still use the same brand just change the color . I've tried so many other bedding options and this is by far the best I've used !
