Birthday Bike
I bought this bike for my 8 year old son and he loves everything about it. We already tested it for an outdoor ride and it’s a great introduction to a more serious kind of cycling.

Incorrect description
Disappointed with this purchase. The description online reads "18 speeds", however, the bike is 6 speed only. Purchased online based on the description and would have probably purchased something else if an accurate description was provided.

It arrived early and was not too hard to put together. The size was as expected and the gears worked well. Unfortunately, the brakes squeaked very loudly, to the point my son did not want to ride the bike anymore. He was so excited to ride it at first too which was the frustration. After emailing Decathlon, calling, and leaving messages for about a week, we never got a response back from Decathlon, so we have initiated a return with Walmart. We would have rather just gotten instructions for how to fix the brakes, but since they did not return our messages, we are currently looking to return the bike. If I do end up get connected with Decathlon, I will change my rating.Mari

The order was delivered in a few days and the installation process was straightforward. The weight was pretty light than I expected. My son loved it when he tried biking. One thing is that it didn't have a kickstand, which might be common in mountain bikes.Sangyoon
