Batteries burn nicely finished wood when they leak
Two times now I have uncluttered my wife's beautiful maple hutch to find leaking batteries that had been set aside and underneath, in the shape of the batteries, the finish burned off. Now we don't monkey around, even partially dispensed batteries go in the trash. Don't know why they are always Duracell but it seems to be the case. Picture shows damage to hutch and a bin of partially dispensed batteries that were stored for future use. Note the brand and the fact that virtually all of them have leaked. I do not experience this with other batteries, even store brands. Time to remove all Duracell batteries and move to Energizer.

    Awful!
I never got the batteries that I ordered, $27 worth. I live in Anacortes so I didn't know they weren't in the bags until after I got home. I have tried to get a hold is someone, ANYONE for the past two hours and have continued to not get a hold of anyone. The phone just rings and rings. So frustrated and I wasn't given a receipt with my curbside order except for the online itemization that is incorrect saying I got my batteries when I didn't! I'm so frustrated and I'm really hoping someone will make this right. $27 is a lot of money to just give up on.

Best batter ever... till they're not
time to change the batteries in the fire alarms. had some guaranteed 5 year in storage 9V's in my desk drawer. copyright on the back is from 2013. to the best of my knowledge 2018 minus 2013 = 5. neither battery in the dual pack worked. one had a melted bottom crystalized growth going on. no, i dont have the original sales receipt. 1 of 5 stars.

2022 batteries already corroded in laptop cushion
Date 2022, here in 2018, they're already having horrid problems. Not having great success lately with Duracell Coppertop batteries. These totally messed up our laptop cushion (to drive the USB LED Light that can plug into the top of the cushion), used in air conditioned, well temperature controlled, house. So, I would not have expected this to happen in the least! I bought these specifically to use in things that won't have batteries changed in a hurry.

Why pay premium for batteries that leak.
I used to believe their commercials, it was worth to pay premium for batteries that can work in harsh environments, that had to work when you need them most (that flashlight in your car when you are stranded in the middle of nowhere). The ones emergency personnel trust. Etc. Just found my 2 AA Maglite with 2 corroded batteries I can not even remove, then checked, and found: LED lamp with 4 AA corroded batteries Photography Flash unit with 4AA corroded batteries My spare car pack (4AA) 2 corroded. Sharp Home stereo remote 2AA corroded

    Leaks
Sorry but Duracell was a name I trusted but I can't bring myself to buy another Duracell battery. I have unfortunately had them leak into so many products, damaging them and now I much take the time and post some reviews. Usually I just throw them out including the device on occasions. See the photo showing just one example of a battery that leaked. It was one of three installed the other test as still having a full charge. What can I say but I am utterly sick of it happening over.

    dollar store batteries don't leak
stamped 2023 and 2025 long life, Don't believe the 10 year claim they leak and corrode in the package, I'd rather use a cheap battery in my devices that don't leak. Interesting the ones stamped 2015 and 2013 didn't leak. Taking them out of all my devices

Unopened Package, Not Expired, and Leaking!
We keep our batteries in a cool, dry storage space. Went to take out some AAAs today and saw that more than half of the batteries in our Duracell package (expiration date of March 2017), completely unopened and unused, were leaking. The other batteries (non-Duracell) in the storage space were still fine. Thankfully I did not ruin any devices with these leaking batteries!

    Leaking again
I find an AAA in my $300 Bose headphones has leaked, another loose in the case also leaked. Two remotes have leaked also. All were well in date, I have always used Duracell, but am concerned, why only Duracells are leaking, cheap batteries supplied with gear, never leak

Leaked in Multiple Devices and in the box!
I've lost two LED flashlights to these batteries and now my FM transmitter for the car. An unused four pack even leaked in the box. On top of that two C-Cells leaked in an antique View-Master and ruined that on me. Why haven't I learned my lesson yet?
