Cuts well
Well made pair of scissors. There sharp and cut paper easily. I find they fit my hand and are comfortable to use. They are mid sized and a cute turquoise color. Great for crafting.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/30/2021Great Pair of ScissorsI have always loved using Fiskars scissors and these did not disappoint me at all. First of all, I love the design on them and that they are not just one plain color and the blue and purple go together well. The colors make them very gender neutral. Second, although they say they are for 12 and up and for "students", I was able to use them just fine and I am much older than 12. However I will add that I am on the petite side and have smaller hands and do see where these might be too small for a teen or adult with larger hands, but they were very comfortable for me to use. These scissors cut really well. While I was cutting regular paper, they did not snag and while I was cut wrapping paper, they were able to slide down the paper and cut right through the wrapping paper the way I prefer scissors to do (without causing any rips going towards the side). I also tried them out cutting through cardboard and they met my expectations doing that as well. I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for a decent pair of sharp scissors.RaeRae91

Package states they are Student scissors but I'm an adult female with medium to large sized hands and they work fine for me. They work great for cutting all types of crafting materials, such as card stock, ribbon, felt, various fabrics, cardboard etc. These scissors are recommended for ages 12 and up.Rcansawgal

They are ergonomic friendly in case you have to a lot of cutting. These are for kids 12 years and older. The ones I have are the turquoise and blue with lightning. My daughter's favorite color. She liked the look of them. Different from regular scissors. The scissors worked great. She likes to do art projects and sewing projects. These scissors did the job. They were sharp enough to cut through cotton material along with paper. She liked that it did not have a curved tip and it had a sharp tip for getting precise cuts. These are for right- and left-handed people! I did not know they could do that! They also have a full lifetime warranty. Wow, pretty cool!BlkBeltMama

The pointed tip is good for detail cutting. It can cut foam, paper, tape, polyester, ribbon and cotton fabric. When used for cutting it is smooth and easy to use. My daughter loves this when doing art projects for school. It states it is a lifetime warranty as well. Sturdy well built feel.Bella

Bigger adult scissors don't fit her hands very well either. Enter these scissors. They are a perfect mid-size pair of scissors for hands too big for child-size scissors yet too small for adult-size scissors. I asked my daughter how they cut and she said, "They cut perfectly!" The grips are softer without feeling spongy. The blades seem sharp enough for all my daughter's crafting needs. I recommend these 7" scissors, especially for mid-sized hands. (See pictures.)Homemaker
