Doing a great job!
This dehumidifier has been doing a great job! We moved into a larger home in FL (where it’s almost always humid) and needed a larger model for the space. This one is perfect without taking up too much space itself. It’s on wheels which makes moving it around very easy. It runs quietly and turns itself off when full. So pleased with this purchase!

Bad news
Device made loud noise when I turned it on Monday for the first time. Today I found it had turned itself off and I could not get it restarted. I wish to return it but when I sent an email to the address in the manual it was returned to me as undeliverable.

    Dehumidifier most impressive performance!!
I purchased this for a damp basement thinking 70 pints would be enough but quickly learned it's small but effective. It's perfect for my upstairs bathroom or my 1st level kitchen. Super quiet, easy to use and perfect for the price. Excellent product!!

    not for a basement
this thing says 3000 sq ft but I am here to tell you - in a basement that is only 1200 it cannot get the humidity below 60% and never shuts off. it is better in a room that is no more than 30 x 30 to be able to do the job. basements need 70 pint or large to be effective. I ended up fixing my 70 pint one for the basement and now it keeps the humidity at 55% or lower with the compressor and fan shutting off when it reaches the preset room humidity level. will say this though it is very quiet.

    Hard Pass.
I SO wish I had opened this immediately and checked it out. This is no where Near what was advertised! Not 50 pints, the reservoir is Tiny and if you are dealing with a high humidity situation (aka the whole reason you bought the stupid thing in the first place), it will require you to empty it numerous times a day. Doing the job-ish wise so far (only gets to the 70's%), so that's... something. But be vigilant because if you don't empty it early enough, water will be so high in the teeny container, it will spill as you attempt to PRY the handle-less, skinny slotted insert out. I mean, there is No area to grip, and impossible to fit your finger in the space without strong, long fingernails or a screwdriver. The hose included in my box is a soggy, flimsy, short 46 inches and worthless for my needs. It IS relatively quiet for a humidifier-- except for the low rapid-fire "katicka-ticka-tickatickatickatickaticka...." that it rattles off while running. Body is a thin, cheapy plastic, and when you press one button on the display, the whole strip uncertainly mashes down. Life got in the way at the time I received this, but lesson learned. ALWAYS open and inspect items right away. I would return this in a heartbeat if I could, as I don't expect this to last long and I'll be eating this $$$ purchase. Hard Pass.

Don't buy this worst purchase ever!!
It comes with this little itty-bitty tube that you can't hook into anything so you have to be within 4 feet of a drain or home all day to empty it. The place where you put the tube isn't threaded so you can't use a hose and if you try to stick the tube into a hose it just pours out.

Very satisfactory unit at excellent price
I bought this for continuous dehumidification of a cold and wet unfinished cellar area, using the drainage hose to go through a partition to the outside. It is excellent at this task. I have it on continuous but I may switch it to a preset minimum humidity after a while going to give it some rest. The advantages of it are that it is small and light, quiet, easy to use, and is very inexpensive. The only disadvantage that I see is that the internal bucket to capture water when not using the hose is small, and will have to be drained at least three or four times the day by my calculation if used continually without the external hose. For my purposes it is excellent so far and I do not anticipate any issues.

    Not a good product
The unit was kept upright prior to plug in as recommended per instructions. However when it was plugged in and started the humidity option did not work nor did the speed option. After allowing it to run for two hours it was not pulling the moisture out of the air. I turned it off, placed it in the box and returned it. I was told it would take a week before the refund could be issued.

So far I'm not impressed %26will probably return. Using dehumidifier function and it's in a small room and it cannot lower the humidity under 55%. I know it's working pulling moisture, but it is not very efficient and blows out warm air. My goal was to reduce humidity and cool room -That doesn't seem to be happening.

Will not buy from Wal-Mart ever again!
Product is leaking around the wheel ---when I call all I get are foreigners who don't understand English---they still sitting here with a broken dehumiditor after only 2 weeks--- don't buy from Wal-Mart unless you want to deal with a bunch of foreigners who do not speak English --period!!!

It might work for you not me
The catch bucket was in the back of the unit whenever you want to empty it you have to turn the unit around. The catch tank is about half the size of out other dehumidifier and the indetions where you have to put your fingers is very narrow. The catch tank does not have a handle to carry it to the sink or where you want to dump it. I am going to return it. On the otherside it was very quiet and if you used the drain it might be OK
