Amazing!
I was very skeptical about buying this due to the horrible reviews, but I went ahead and did it anyways! It’s a lengthy process because you have to put everything together individually and the instructions are just pictures, but if you pay attention you should be fine! There’s a lot of comments about them not being sturdy but at the end there are little things you put in the back abs that 100% makes all the difference. I use mine everyday and haven’t had any issue.

I was sent the item with absolutely zero instructions in the box. so i have a piece of furniture i can't even assemble.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/11/2021Easy and simple, but sturdy!It took me a minute to put together myself, there’s quite a few pieces as you have to build each drawer separately and then the cabinet itself. It would be easier if I had more arms or another person to help. All you need to assemble is a Phillips screwdriver. Instructions were super easy to follow and once I got it all together it was sturdy and seemed really nice. Overall I’m happy with it.Kaytee

I’ve really been wanting to do one of the Alex IKEA drawer vanities I’ve been seeing everywhere without paying ikea prices. These drawers are perfect!! Very easy to assemble and they hold everything I need them too! I’m so very happy with how this turned out. Definitely recommend!Ben enzor

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/16/2021Yes!If using the 5 drawer system as a vanity, you’ll need an adjustable bar stool, so keep that in mind! Or... if you’re looking for a vanity you can stand at, or even a desk system, I’m 5’5” and this would work for a standing vanity/desk set-up. I converted three in wall closet into a space for my vanity because I have a large walk-in closet in my room. No need for the in wall closet system. I then put in some side shelves. For the vanity top I used a long piece of pine press wood and then used sticky tile for the top :) The drawers roll in and out smoothly. The system was easy to build. All of the pieces were present and very well packed to prevent damage. Shipping was fast. I would highly recommend these drawer systems! Well worth the $.Joelene Rackley

The manual is okay but could be better with labeled or numbered parts. Make sure you screw the screws to the drawer rails in as close to the wood as you can otherwise you won’t be able to roll the drawer out like mine. I have two ikea Alex 5 drawers and wanted the 9 drawer unit but it’s very pricey and even double the price to ship from IKEA. I found this large 5 drawer unit which I love!! It is a great “dupe”. It has 5 drawers and it’s more wide not as long as the ikea Alex drawers. Great for makeup organization. The setup took me about 2 hours by myself using power drill but I took my time to make sure everything was setup correctly which worked as every drawer is aligned and everything is sturdy. It’s not as sturdy as Ikea drawer unit but I am not putting heavy things in it since it’s just used for makeup. No damage or missing pieces, make sure to follow the “picture” directions(no written instructions) as I saw others had issues with the setup but mine was perfect! Would recommend and buy again if neededWalmart Customer
