Perfect gift 8-11!!
My 8.5 year old Granddaughter just loves her hover board. As per the instructions you step lightly on it with one foot until it beeps and then get on. This insures correct balancing. I held her hand while she practiced going up and down the street and then a few turns and then she was off! Loves it!!!

My husband and I purchased this hoverboard for our daughter on Black Friday for Christmas and when we opened it for use yesterday 1-1-2023, we realized that the charge didn't hold. We reached out to Walmart's customer service department and were told that the price at purchase could not be honored. We were also advised to reach out to the manufacturer to see if they could help us out. When I explained that a return had been started and that we were going to the store to return, I asked if the store manager would be able to help and the representative said to try and ask. I reached out to the manufacturer to no avail. I called and emailed and received no response nor was I able to leave a voicemail. Once at the store the customer service person said that there was a chance that they would not be able to return let alone honor the price we paid( we ended up spending an extra $40 for a new one for our daughter) because there wasn't proper packaging. We brought the hoverboard in its original box(the way it was delivered). The store manager was called (using a cell phone not a radio) for the situation to be explained. They never came out to even speak to my husband and I. Eventually, they accepted the hoverboard. My son's hoverboard was fine, but not my daughter's and it was an absolute nightmare. I would really like for the price that we paid to be honored and the $40 to be refunded. I believe that Walmart should be more customer centered and employees more friendly.

    Do not buy
    Opened on Christmas Day, charger that came with it wouldn't work first thing! Thankfully bought 2 for both my daughters and got it to charge off the second one. Not even 30 mins into playing it went completely dead and wouldn't come back on. Color was as pictured but quality was horrible. Total waste of money. I will be returning

    BETTER PACKAGING!!!!
    Bought for my daughter for Christmas. Just arrived at the house and because it wasn't boxed inside of another box, both of my kids saw it and are now fighting over who it's for. Not happy about this. Seeing as it is the holiday season, might want to think about better packaging.

    DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
    DO NOT PURCHASE! We bought it in October to give to our daughter on her birthday in November. She rode it around the house only. It stopped working 2 weeks ago. We tried researching on our own for 2 weeks on how to troubleshoot it. Finally, we gave up and emailed the company (not Walmart). We were told it is 3 months out of the manufacturers warranty and we've had it for 4 months.... with 3 months of actual use. Waste of time, waste of money with lots of tears from our 8 year old.

    Cool hoverboard with speaker!
    After researching several hoverboards, I decided to purchase this one for my 7 year old nephew. I will admit the fact that it has a Bluetooth speaker was a big selling point. I unboxed it and charged it to ensure all was working properly before wrapping it. I was impressed with the quality and heft. All was good after charging and the speaker was awesome! He was very excited to open it on Christmas Day. It took a few attempts for him to get the feel of how it works and now he is hovering like a pro! The sizing is good for a 7 year old and I feel like it gives him a little room for growth. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

    This was a birthday gift for my grandson. It was a hit! He absolutely loves it (score! Mamaw for the win) Well made. A little heavy, but certainly is excellent quality. The Bluetooth speaker is a bonus. He was super impressed. Excellent value and quality.

    Honest and truthful.
    11 year old daughter loves it! Only two things I didn't like is speakers crackle, like most, when volume is turned up to max on most songs, and secondly the galaxy print got scuffed up because its to low to ground.

    Great gift for the kiddos!
    Love these hover boards for our kids!!!! They move around easily, the kids caught on fast and love that they light up and can play music through them like a speaker.
