A very good boys bike!
Actually for a lower priced bike this has been great in the week we've had it. It was for an 11 year old boy and he does like it very much. Putting it together was fairly easy and straight forward, however it did take me a bit to get the front disc and disc break adjusted. Once that was done, it was a smooth ride for him!

Bad front wheel
Thought I'd take a chance since it was cheap and my nephew was wanting a new bike at my house. Delivered on time, though FedEx did lay it on it's side when it specifically says not to do that. Opened it up, put it together easy enough. However, the front wheel is bad. Not punctured as stated by some reviewers. The internal bearing mechanism is loose, so it's wobbly and not a way to tighten it up. Have to return.

    was fine until it broke
    lasted 7 months before breaking. chain system got caught somehow in the spokes while riding and caused the frame spokes and chain gears to bend completely out of place

    Absolute junk. I am on the second one they have sent. The first one had a bent frame, this one the front ire and disc brake are bent. I spent two hours on hold with Walmart to fix then problem. They were about as helpful as nothing. I will not be buying things online from Walmart anymore their customer service sucks.

    Wish I could give it ZERO stars
    This bike is absolute garbage. Don't waste your time. The derailer is PLASTIC. We bought this bike for my son for Christmas and literally the first time he rode it the entire derailer snapped in half. I just contacted customer service and because it is outside of the allotted return time (BECAUSE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING) the only way for me to return it is to ship it and pay for the shipping myself. There is no way for me to return to my local Walmart. It is a joke. Customer service is absolutely lacking. Shocking, i know. Walmart is such a nightmare. I had reservations about buying a big ticket item there and turns out I should have trusted my gut. Buy from a local bike shop. You get what you pay for.

    Poor quality or shipping damage, probably both
    Our son liked the bike, but the rear derailleur came bent such that it rubs the spokes in the low gears and the rear tire stopped holding air before a week was done. On the plus side, customer support did seem responsive on the derailleur issue, but once the tire stopped holding air decided it's just going back to Walmart and didn't complete the warranty process, so can't speak to it fully.

    New bike come with a flat
    Ordered this bike online. Got it put together and the tires need to be inflated. The back tire would not hold air. It said 50 psi and it would stop at 20 psi and would not go any further. Took the tire off and the tube had a hole in it. So very upsetting to get a bicycle and your child can't even ride it because the tire stays flat. Not good for a bike that just came out of the box brand new. Frustrating.

    perfect for a kid who goes off road
    pros: really solid build, unbreakable basically. was able to shift into any of the gears quietly ootb and the braking required only minor adjustments cons: generic derailleurs are strange (kind of like them though) - no idea what it'll be like once they've gotten dirty/wet. the cross bar in the frame was damaged in both bikes i got, even though the packaging on the frame was in tact (these were damaged before they were boxed), the component class is absolute bargain basement - but ootb feels adequate. i actually really like the stem and frame, they just feel like they can be beat on (they certainly weigh a lot!)

    Defective Bike
    Bike arrived packaged nicely. Rear tire was attached to main frame of bike. Front tire tube was punctured by a spoke coming through wheel frame. Purchased a patch kit to repair it. When the bike was assembled my son took it on his first ride and the gear assembly bent and wrapped into the rear wheel spokes making it unrideable. Returning for a full refund
