Does the job!
These work great! We use this fan to help dry our carpets faster after they have been cleaned. We use them to cool us down when we are sitting outside too. We just recently purchased this one for an office that gets too hot even with a window air conditioner and it works amazingly.

Do not buy! At first I thought this fan was awesome. The power on number 3 was unbelievable. . After a few hours I noticed there was not as strong of an air flow. It died down so I switched speeds 3,2,1,. Then 1,2,3 and absolutely no change in speed the power had dwindled down to a very low speed. I thought maybe there was a defect problem so I sent it back and had it replaced. Well nope no defect about it! This one is doing the same thing. Its to bad because this fan when you first start it definitely has great power. So another hassle of returning. Ugghh.

    Wonderful Cooling!
    I bought five of these fans…a second one for my house and four for my daughter��s house who has no AC. This model of the Lasko window sill fan (or floor fan) puts out a LOT cooling air! My daughter and her family of dive is loving the coolness too. Great price for these too.

    Lasted 2 weeks. Sweltering dorm room.
    Broke after 2 weeks. Stuck in a sweltering hot dorm with a broken fan. Very cheaply made. Just bought a different brand replacement for $20 more. Makes a clicking sound when the blades turn.

    Sturdily made with heavy airflow, much heavier than the ones I can pick up in store. We have one in our window and one by the bed - I went out of my way to purchase this one as a second one because the first is so good. Provides steady white noise even on the lowest setting.

    Throws out alot of air!
    Don't be fooled, This fan throws out alot of air and keeps my living room nice and cool. Very quite and definitely easy to assemble as it only needs the two bottom feet pushed in and its ready out of the box to be plugged in and enjoyed. I have used metal fans for many years and I wish I had found this fan sooner. Definitely worth purchasing and at a great price!

    Lasko 20" Box Fan-The good, the bad, and the ugly.
    I bought this fan because product reviews I read gave this fan the edge for performance over competing brands. This fan is very quiet and reasonably powerful, and I like the Weather-Shield feature that includes a safety fuse for window use. However, there is a major problem with these fans that Lasko is well aware of. The blades tend to wobble noisily to the point where the fan is unusable. The wobble issue began on my last fan within two days of use. I had to buy four of them to get two without the defect. I made the mistake of buying the first one directly from Lasko, which has horrible customer service and refused to replace the defective fan. If you buy one, make sure you save your receipt and get it from a reputable dealer like Walmart which will allow easy returns.

    Amazing fan! Great power!
    Amazing fan! The power is great and its lovely white noise to go to sleep to. Not too big not too small, a wonderful size for bedrooms and livingrooms. I currently use it in the basement of my house and it cools down the whole place! 100% reccomend!!!

    Restocked Item with Shoddy Construction
    Problems with Lasko Fan 1. It was a restocked item, as evident from marks on the fan from window placement. 2. It is defective in several ways: a. the front and back grills are not mounted square, but crooked (photo 1) b. because of this, the right rear foot does not line up with the groove (photo 2) This was probably a factory reject purchased at a steep discount, but then sold as if it were a new fan in good condition.

    Highly Duable, Tad Pricy
    Best Fan to have even when the weather isn't sunny and hot. Shielded motor keeps the air moving and turning it around to blow the air out of the house is just as helpful as bringing it in. We use it in the bedroom window when the temp is in that 50-75 range and the humidity is low. Had three before and just now replaced the last one.
