Awesome
This particular fan is awesome... This is the 2nd one I've had. I recommend cleaning the dust from the back of the motor Periodically,that's what ruined my 1st fan. The air blows extremely well even from across the entire room ... I love the remote as well.. The only complaint I have is the price I bought the exact same fan maybe a year and a 1/2 ago for like $40... Now they went up to 60.

Walmart Fail! Your community is watching!
As for the fan... I love this fan! It is still a must buy. Walmart pick up, Palm Coast Florida, FAIL!....15 minutes of a wait after call and 10 cars after me serviced and received an open item with missing batteries , broken faceplate. This is clearly a dropped items. STILL WORKS GREAT. But walmart service was lacking big time. I will return the item tomorow, to get one with batteries and a faceplate intacked thoe.

Holy Moly! I haven't tried it, but I'm not quite sure if I laid it down...and threw myself over it, that it wouldn't hold me up in the air. It is fantastic! It's winter now (Michigan) and I haven't turned it on lately, just been using the pedestal fan, as I never thought I would ever say this about a fan, but this one is to much...in the winter.Karolyn

Noise does get louder on on speed 3, however speeds 1 and 2 are minimal noise with great cooling. Remote is awesome feature.LUV2RENOV8

I use these fans to move cool air from one air-conditioned room throughout my whole house. I've tried lots of "box" fans and the "box" is the problem. The Lasko fan uses a round enclosure instead of a square one . Look up "ducted-fan" on the web for a good explanation of why this fan excels.Timothy

A little pricey but worth it if you need the sound to sleep and love to keep your room cool! Plus if it lasts even half as long as the other one I had then it is definitely worth it! It is in my bedroom and is very quiet and steady. I also have one without a remote. I have been very pleased with both of them. I love the one with the remote. If my room gets a little warm while I am sleeping, I just reach over and switch the fan on for a few minutes. However, I made this new purchase online because my local store did not carry one with a remote. It was very disappointing. I placed it upstairs and could hear it downstairs; it was so loud. Also, it shook and vibrated so much that I was afraid that it would fall over. I am going to order another one, same model, with hopes that maybe it will not have the same problems. Maybe this new one was just a lemon. The remote worked much better than the Lasko Wind Machine, a less expensive model which I ordered first. I returned both to my local store. There was a customer in front of me and one in line behind me returning Lasko fans, different models. That's 4 of their fans just while I was in the Returns Dept. I know Lasko can do better!!!!!!Chris

However, I ordered a replacement for one that died and it arrived broken as you see in the photos. Ordered a second and it arrived used, seriously people, why am I getting a used product.
