Garbage
Don't buy it! Garbage unit does not work as advertised. Bought it for 150.00 2days later it was 99.00. Will be taking it back to Walmart...

    NOT GOOD
    Did not come with instruction manual. Shows same picture, chirp does not work, split screen does not work. Very disappointed

    I haven't installed it on the boat but in comparison to what I've seen it is a good value and am sure it will perform adequately. Happy with my purchase.

    Decent Fish Finder Only
    The Hook2 7X appears to be a good FISH FINDER. Nothing more It has a decent screen and is easy to install. IT IS NOT HOWEVER a GPS plotter, as stated in the advertising, and printed on the box. The definition of a plotter is, "...a device used in marine navigation that integrates GPS data with an electronic navigational chart." If all you need is a depth/fish finder, than this may work for you.

    Very good for the price!
    This was offered at a reduced price with the gps functionality which was why I bought it. The price is excellent and the depth/fish finder looks excellent. However - the chart plotter doesn't have the ability to load or display maps. It only records tracks and waypoints, which is still great for the price, but I prefer to spend a bit more to get topography (depth contouring) and shorelines.

    NO MAPPING FEATURE
    The price was good...but I discovered why it was on clearance....There is NO MAPPING FEATURE. It will show you your trail, and your GPS location, but not on a MAP. So its a step back in time by 15 years.....This unit is going back to the store.....I should have known better....on a good note. its a good 7 inch color fishfinder for 100 bucks...
