Bike arrived 5 days early in perfect condition. almost fully assembled. works just as described or better. customer service is great. price dropped $40 two days after I purchased it. I emailed seller and they gave me a 40. credit the next day. Would highly recommend this seller for any purchase. I don't know the difference in a 2000. ebike to a $649. ebike but this one is great. I really like the removable battery.

Problems. Buyer beware.
For the price, we have had nothing but problems. Upon assembly, the front wheel will not fully tighten and the steering is loose. We have yet to be able to get the manufacturer to respond (even though there should be a 1-year warranty and I would have returned this bike). We have attempted multiple times with the manufacturer. Had to file a claim through Walmart (paid for a 3-year plan) which is refusing the claim because it seems the bike was already damaged upon delivery. Normal riding for the past 3 weeks has caused the brake pad to fall off and the kickstand to break as well. This is a terrible experience and now nearly $800 later we have a bike no one wants to cover under warranty coverage.

    Handle bar and bike frame doesn't match well.
    Liked the speed that provides the electric motor. The handle bar is too small for the bike size. The electric accelerator is confusing and may cause an accident. The throttle should be separate in a push button.

    Amazing bike for price
    Bought this for 16 year old and he loves it. I test rode it and it's very smooth although needs a wider seat but what bike doesn't. I have no complaints on the bike and it arrived super quick!

    Absolutely amazing!
    the manual is a little confusing, but they give you all the tools that you need plus a QR code to watch a how-to video to assemble. this was not only my 1st bike since I was a child, but the 1st bike that I ever assembled! I recommend getting a portable electric air pump because it requires exactly 50psi for each tire. This bike is fast WITHOUT power! I've only got to 10mph and I felt like I could fly off it! It was like being a kid again! Seriously ride with a helmet and protected gear; it's no average bike! 10 out of 10: worth EVERY penny!

    A good E bike for the old $679 price
    First of all the current price is way too high. It should drop again in the future. I have put 375 miles on the bike in 2 months. This bike as long as it's a good working one is a powerful bike. I have taken this bike mountain biking on steep loose rock narrow trails and it goes up the hills great with a little work from the rider. The frame is small for a 5'10 rider. A stem extension is a must. Stem extensions are cheap on amazon. The seat is soft which seems like that would be good but I think you sink down to the hard part of the seat which now make it a poor seat. This frame is very stiff, does not feel smooth with any bigger bumps. I think due to the small frame and the absolutely horrible front fork shock. Its a pogo stick that doesn't go down very easily! I have not changed it yet but it will make this bike much more comfortable. Within 2 rides one of the chain links was coming apart. I repaired it and have not had anymore issues since. Also have had the display shut off a few times but after removing the controller and checking the battery contacts it has not happened again. Also I have gone up steep hills with no power and it did a good job for a 47lb bike. A big problem is the display is locked so much you can't reset the trip meter. I plan on buying a new unlocked display from allibaba. Hopefully it is only the display that is locked and not locked by the controller. A new unlocked display should allow you to set the speed higher and adjust the percentages of each assist level based on the real instruction manual for this bikes display.

    Overall a good bike, but incomplete and lacking.
    Read the reviews. Good quality at the low end of the price range. Easy assembly. I am over 6' and it feels a bit small for me but there are a lot of smaller bikes out there. And the power is excellent. I was concerned about a 350 watt motor but while the terrain here is mostly flat it moves me well topping out at 20mph. I don't see a need for setting the pedal assist mode above 2. Anything higher and you are moving faster than your ability to contribute to the speed and battery savings. NOTE, you will need a different seat. This is a hard seat. No springs and little padding. Also pedals are small. You will also likely want fenders and lights.

    This bike is awesome. Easy assembly and runs pretty fast on a charge. The charge lasts about 2-3 hours solid. Is very well made and fun and comfortable to drive. We recommend to everyone.

    A very decent e-bike for trail and commute
    This is a very nice e-bike at a very reasonable price and definitely worth considering if you're thinking to get your first e-bike but don't want to spend a lot of money yet. There are quite a few places I like about this e-bike - Digital display which shows real-time mph speed. Most e-bike at this price range doesn't have a digital display. Also it's 5 gears up to 20mph. The motor is rated 350W. - It features pedal-assist as well as a throttle for motor-assist acceleration. At gear 0, the motor is off and there are 21 speeds to choose from, which is very flexible. The throttle design is way better than button design as it's much safer and easier to use. - Battery is rated at 36V 10.4Ah (375 Wh) and offer up to 30 miles range, but I can easily go more than that because I mainly use pedal assist and low motor gears. The included charger is high-quality which can charge the battery within 3 hours. Overall I like this e-bike a lot and have been riding it in short commutes ~5-10 miles and I am enjoying the ride quality. The front suspension make it comfortable to ride on bumpy roads.

    Metakoo Electric Bike Is Pretty Good!
    This METAKOO 26" Electric Mountain Bike is not my first mountain bike, but it is my first electric mountain bike, and it is a keeper! Overall, it's a pretty decent, solidly built e-bike. Good looking too! I am having a blast using this e-bike. Billed as an entry-level off-road electric bike (based on its price, not components), it is more than holding its own. To date, nothing has broken and I have had no issues. My only suggestion is the tires are more for on-road than off-road or trail use, and I can (and will) change these out. Otherwise, not one issue with the bike. The BAFANG 350W Brushless Motor has a strong and efficient power and can produce a top speed up to 20 mph. If one wants to simply cruise along or not pedal, just engage the throttle. If you enjoy pedaling and want to a more intuitive e-bike then go for the pedal assist mode. Has a range of up to 30 miles, depending on how much you use the motor. The brakes and shifters are fine, the seat is acceptable and the frame is solidly built and has partially internal wiring. Overall, I can't find fault with any of it and it's all acceptable for a leisurely, fun e-bike designed to get someone out of the house and onto the road or light trail use. Oh, one comment-I found some bike trails are for non-motor use, so just be aware.
