Nice Shoe Storage
These Extra-Wide plastic shoeboxes by Mainstays are perfect for more bulky shoes, and even short boots. When not in use, they stack nicely inside of each other and the lids also stack together. The lids just sit on top, they don’t snap on. And the containers are hard plastic, with vent holes, to keep them from absorbing and retaining odors. And they’re clear, so you can see just which shoes you have in which container. I’m very happy with them!

I got these shoe boxes to store shoes that don't get worn often. Shoes and or boots that are seasonal. I would normally just throw them in a closet but after a few months of storage there is quite a bit of dust on them. These will stop that problem. But there are problems, first the rather large size. If you had many shoes to store you would need a large space for them. The other thing is that they are hard plastic. As you can see in the photo, I put 2 pairs of my great granddaughter's rain boots in one. She got a little excited while closing the box and cracked the top. It still works but it is something that needs to be taken into account.

    ehat o like about it is that it holds my size 13 sneakers and its hard plastic. what i dont like about it is i cant put my timberland 6' boots in it and if it falls it chips and crack. i recieve my thru the mail when i finally open it the bottom one was crack all rhe way. i like it wish it was big enough to hold my Timbos.

    Versatile and High Quality
    I am very happy with these Mainstays Plastic Extra-Wide Shoe Boxes with lids. I used to use opaque boxes for my shoes and had to add a photo to the box end so I could tell what was in there without getting them down and opening the box. Not anymore because these are crystal clear and it's so easy to see what is inside. My shoes, short boots and slippers fit comfortably with room to spare and I wear a women's size 8. These are sleek, attractive and the lid fits snugly. These also stack incredibly well and won't topple. I leave one out in the floor to keep my fur slipper boots in when I am not wearing them so the dog can't eat them but they are still easy to find. The series of small holes on the side makes sure there is no moisture entrapped and provides the ability for air flow to inhibit odors. Zero complaints and I'm getting many more sets.

    GOOD MEDIUM SIZED STORAGE CONTAINERS
    Upon receiving my Two Mainstays clear shoe boxes, I found that they are 10.5 wide x 14.75 deep x 5.75 high. This is a good size a box and will easily hold my size 10 shoes, sneakers, or boots. These boxes have vent holes so that air could flow through and prevent any moisture from building up. They are much bigger than I expected. The clear plastic easily lets you see what is inside without having to open the box. They will stack easily in my closet and can be used for many other uses than shoes. My wife thinks they are great for storing her fabric and she wants to buy more!

    Beautiful large storage boxes
    These clear plastic boxes are intended for the storage of shoes but I am using them under my kitchen sink to help organize my cleaning supplies. These boxes are very large and great for storing a lot of stuff they have lids which creates even more opportunity for storage as you can stack them on top of eachother or even place other items on top of them. I love that they’re clear so I can easily see the products I am storing inside of them. The plastic is very strong and durable.

    Great storage units
    Yes they are supposedly oversized shoe boxes...but they make great storage units. Especially because of them being clear! And that they are oversized! I just cleaned my utility room and used the "shoe boxes" to store item in. They are sturdy. I will slowly change out my plastic basketsi for these clear shoe boxes tor a uniform look.

    Clear box with lid Measures: 14 3/4” long x 10 5/8” wide x 5 1/2” deep Color: clear, see-through Made from what feels like a very hard plastic. Although I do think if I dropped it on a hard surface, the plastic would chip or crack. It's not a rubbery, soft plastic like a shoe tubby. There are five holes in the long side on both sides of the box. That's a nice feature to help alleviate stinky shoe smell. The lid fits really well on top. There is a ledge on top of the lid for easy stacking and keep it in place type of security. The two boxes were separated by a piece of white paper that is cut specifically to fit inside the plastic box. I really like this piece of paper! It is great for hiding what's inside! I kind of wish there were two pieces of paper! I like how the size fits really easily on the wire shelf in the hallway closet. We are getting ready to move in this will provide / create an organized way to store (hide) personal items. A queen size set of sheets folded fits perfectly inside this box! I like how they stack and how they look when stacked. It feels solid with the lid's inner lip. This would also make very nice reusable boxes for holiday gifts! Line it with tissue paper, tie a ribbon bow around it - good to go!!
