The size of this desk is really nice for a room corner or across a full wall in a room because it is convertible. This would work for even two people working in one workspace. The supports are very thin so I would not recommend it as a long term solution or for anyone that is hard on furniture. I like the simplicity of it to go with any style decor.

Horrible desk DONT BUY
Zero stars if I could. TLDR; this desk has decent quality materials however, nothing matches, parts are mislabeled or are just completely irrelevant in setting the desk up. Holes when assembling don't lineup at all, really seems like they just drilled holes into wood and called it a day.

    Broken board
    The desk would be fine, but one of the main boards is broke, Now have to take the whole thing apart, I am presuming. We were so close to getting it set up.

    great concept, but mfg defects cause headaches
    we thought this was the perfect fit for our purpose, but during assembly we noticed some irregularities with the manufacturing and the pieces didnt fit together like the manual showed. mostly screw holes and the housing threads didnt line up, and the top pieces have gaps between them. Calling the numbers in the book when i get off work today to see what out options are.

    I would give it zero stars if I could
    For $160 its junk. The holes don't line up, the instruction don't say which side is inner and which side is outer. The giant 3' flag "these are the instructions" and "these are the assembly kit" was great. Be prepared for frustration, a lot of time, and none of the holes to line up for assembly.

    This is a pride conscious desk. There are no bells and whistles but it does the job. It does have quite a bit of storage but it's all open storage. It does seem to be sturdy. I don't love that it is monochromatic in nature. I would have preferred an accent color. Overall this is a nice basic desk.

    The Mainstays Desk is a heavy desk. It's modern and sleek. I really like the lower shelves for equipment or storage. It's very versatile also. Love that it will make the L shape or you can position the desks side-by-side. This would be excellent for all the teens or spouses working from home right now. Two desks potentially or just a really large space for one. It's an excellent set-up for gaming also or just for two large monitors. I'm not crazy about the cheaper feel of the desk top. I can see a wet drink ruining it very easily. This will probably appeal more to younger people so I would probably be cautious as a parent purchasing this. It's excellent otherwise!

    I think the idea of this desk is great. Having something you can keep for a while, in different spaces & rooms is fantastic. Brings longevity to the item. But with an item that can be moved & reshaped & adjusted to the room it's in or the style of the room, I would hope for two things: better quality & more storage. The quality is not horrible but the thin wood top makes it look cheap. The shelves are great but a drawer at least on one side for the desk would be nice for storage.

    Feels flimsy. I would use a locking mechanism between parts bs screws to reduce effort to mobilize and reconfig. The cross brackets are about useless so lose them from the design. I did like the shalving.

    I like the size and shape of the desk. I also like the exterior shelf's. I think this would help dress up the desk in an office. I don't like that there are no drawers. It makes it a little less practical for everyday use.
