    Very much worth the price.
    Worth the cost. I was pleasantly surprised at this unit for the price of $16.00. I had to cut a bit off the upper wire portion of the antenna as it was off 3:1 on channel 40 and was very low swr on channel 1. After tuing it I was able to get about 1.5:1 SWR on both the upper and lower end. Have not checked out any range tests on it yet.

    In the band, from the start.
    Analyzed via Nano. Out of the box it centered around Chan 11. (Making sure all parts were threaded tight, and set screws were snug). Used visegrips to cut 1/8th inch off the bottom of the top wire mast. That brought it up to around Channel 18/19; good enough for my purpose. SWR was 1:1.07 out of the box. After tuning, its at 1:1.04 (fine by me). Overall, for an economy purchase, I expect this antenna to give above average performance after tuning. But it would have been passable out of the bubble pack. Safe travels!
