Great quality!!!!
Have always been a huge fan of midland products through friends and finally had the chance to grab some for myself. These X Talkers work great and don't have any of that static you get with competitors. One feature we love is to be able to charge it using USB, other radios only use the docking station and that's really inconvenient. Highly recommend these!

    Great compact radio
    I was able to talk from inside my house to the inside of a garage about a mile away. Once you step out of the urban environment the possibilities really open up. I am able to pick up the weather stations out of Pittsburgh at my home, about 25 min SE of town

    Well Built, User Friendly and Works Great
    We utilize these for communication in and around camp, when spotting obstacles for drivers when off roading, and for vehicle to vehicle communications when in groups. Having the ability to nest them in their charger for travel, and charge with either USB or 110v ensures they're always ready when we need them. The controls make changing settings very simple, even for users with little radio experience. They are an excellent option for someone looking for radios that are simple to operate, have great battery life, and have held up great to our outdoor lifestyle.

    Great battery life
    I use these radios out on the trail and at camp when I am not in the vehicle (where I have a MXT275 installed)--they communicate perfectly with the GMRS radios. What has been the most impressive thing about these walkies is the battery life! I have had them on for the whole weekend at camp and they still had plenty of juice left.

    Perfect for almost all of our outdoor activities
    We've had these for several months along with our MXT275 and they are a perfect combo. Our offroad/overland group in Albuquerque is in the process of switching everyone over to the FRS/GMRS system. In the meantime having these portable radios allows us to hand these out till they get their vehicle mounted radios. We love how easily we can charge these through a USB while driving or at home

    Sturdy with good sound quality!
    I work at a day camp that offers year-round children's programming, and after the last of our old walkie talkies bit the dust, we were in the market for something that fit into our budget but also would last well and have good sound quality (the old ones we were using sounded like you were communicating with Mars even if you were just feet away). After much research, I decided on these, and we love them! Over the 3 months or so since we bought our first ones to try out, the sound quality has been great, and we have not had any issues with them (good battery life, reliable, none of the clips have broken--which is a record for us). Unless our experience changes, I will continue buying these.

    Excellent Performance
    I have had my model for going on 3 years now. The battery life is amazing. I have had excellent range in heavily wooded areas and incredible range over long unobstructed distances like fields and roadways. Built tough and to last working in the real world mine have been dropped and they held up to the kids playing with them at campgrounds. I intend to pair it with the micro mobile radio that I see offered now as a package.
