Will wait to see how long this product lasts. I'm always worried about the base of this lamp. After a few years, the base fell apart. A metal base would be more suitable.

A vacuum is required during assembly. Hope to grow taller.
Just put the light together. It looks well made and of course, time will tell on the quality and durability. The packaging is very bad. It's only tall enough to be used as a tableside lamp. Maybe if you were sitting on the floor directly under the lamp the output would be ok, but if sitting on a couch or table the dispersion of the light would be better if it was higher. Since it is shorter, the light is more concentrated to that specific area, rather than having space to spread out and provide diffuse light over a larger area. For the desk space pictured, a person would probably need two of these to provide balanced light to the area. Things to note before ordering.

    This lamp is just what I need while reading and solving puzzles in my recliner. Easy to assemble. Heavy and sturdy base. The adjustment method is extremely flexible.

    Very bright LED reading light
    Perfect for our tiny house. We put reading lights behind the recliners. There was one small problem, the top wouldn't screw onto the rod properly...the threads would never get stuck...so we used plumber's tape on the threads, which was fine.

    My living room is so much brighter!
    The original light in my living room was not bright enough, so I bought this one. I love the flexibility and simplicity of assembly. I had to contact customer service about some missing parts and they were very helpful and friendly throughout the entire exchange process.

    Easily direct light where you want it
    Desk lighting has been a persistent problem in my studio. This three-arm, same-level lighting configuration solved my lighting problems. Brightness is easy to achieve and shadows can be controlled via positioning arms. The light stand is easy to assemble and there are no issues with its design.

    When doing cross stitch, it is difficult to distinguish between colors. This lamp is perfect for the sofa. I had to use my own bulb; none came with it, but that's okay. This lamp is sturdy, easy to assemble, and looks beautiful in my living room.

    Suitable for a variety of uses
    Lightweight and easy to flip, yet very useful next to your desk area to brighten dark corners. I left all 3 lights on and used extension cords to turn them on and off, saving on switches.
