Bottom right corner is an issue
I order this commuter case after i pre ordered my Note 9. Ive been a otterbox user since the Galaxy S2 days. I was dissapointed to see how the lower right of the case doenst have any kind of support for the rubber interior of the case. Ive only had it in the phone for 20 hours or so and its already sagging. I completly understand why they designed it that way for easier access to the S Pen. Always thought of Otter box as an innovator in cases and was hoping it was designed better. Maybe the symmetry case is better than the commuter!

    Good protection with less bulk
    I brought my OtterBox commuted for my note 9 a month ago after going through several cases and reviews. As I am already an OtterBox user (commuter one plus 6 and defender iPad air 2 ) it was not a hard decision for narrow regarding protection (as I have accidentally dropped the case many a times) . What I loved about the case is that is that it's less bulky compared to the defender which is obviously more protective but does not compromise on the safety profile (which I feel the symmetry does).

    Good but not great
    Feels like a sturdy case and isnt too bulky. But the way the the rubber and hard plastic pieces of the case fit together leaves uneven gaps. The slot at the bottom for the S Pen makes it hard to remove the pen without pushing the case around. I've always had otterbox cases for my phones and while this case does the job just fine it doesn't quite live up to what I've come to expect from the otterbox name.

    Great Case, But Slippery
    I bought this case about a month ago and it has not let me down in the protection department. I have dropped it several times and my phone has come out on the other end unscathed. I would say the only two downsides to this case are the following: 1. I can tell that the silicon around the S-Pen area will start sagging sooner or later due to lack of support from the hard plastic portion of the case. 2. This case is very slippery. Most of my drops were due to the slickness of the hard plastic portion of the case. The only bright side to the slickness is how easily the phone is inserted and removed from my pocket. I would recommend OtterBox, but I would like some type of grip increasing design to be implemented.

    Good case, but...
    I've used Otterbox cases for several years now and have mostly been content. However, when the Note 9 came out and I put the case on, I realized it's nearly impossible to get the S pen out with the case on. The wife's Symmetry case has the same problem.

    Great case, what I would expect from otterbox
    Bought this case for my note 9, this is the fifth otterbox case I have purchased, love the brand and the quality as well as the warranty. Durable and dependable the defender case. The only complaint is that this case will not charge using my Samsung in car wireless charger, it works fine with the in home wireless chargers but I have to remove the case to charge in my car, this needs to be addressed and fixed.

    Great protection but still fits in pocket
    I ordered this case before I got my pre-ordered Note 9. The case is certainly up to Otterbox standards and the only potential issue I have is the lack of hard cover protection at the bottom of the device close to the device pen. This coupled with a front glass protector has me feeling very protected!

    Another solid Commuter Case
    I have had this on the phone for 6 days now. I had a Commuter case on my last Galaxy Note, and I didn't even consider buying something other than the same for my new phone. The case is a great blue color and has a nice weight and feel to it once the phone is in it. The only issue I have with the case is that the corner where the stylus is tends to catch the corner of the stylus and sometimes requires a little extra attention to get it out. I understand that with the curved screen and slim case design, there are expected challenges. This is not a deal breaker, but would be more of a suggestion if there were any improvements made to an already great product.

    Well made case
    It protects the phone very good, has plenty of clearance for the screen if you place your phone face down. The texture and fit are very nice, slides in my pocket very easy. Couple things I don't like are the headphone and charger covers, I cut mine off. The bottom right of the case around where the s-pen goes is very flimsy and doesn't stay tight to the phone, but I think that is just the nature of having an s-pen and allowing access. There is no plastic supporting around the volume buttons or the power button so I feel the silicone will eventually start peeling back away from the phone. Very nice build quality and materials, I am confident in it's ability to protect my phone
