Perfect signal!
This is super easy to install! And the app is easy to use too. The kit comes with everything you need to install, including the double-sided 3M tape. There's a signal indicator that makes it easy to find sweet spot. This is a terrific way to all the free HDTV channels. You'll never need to pay another cable bill again!

Worth a Try
This antenna works as well as expected in my area. I live well outside the city but was able to capture my major channels and some extra. The antenna is a good value for its price.

    Great way to save on a monthly cable bill!
    My husband installed this antenna on our bedroom television because because it is not a smart tv with the apps to access free tv apps through wifi, and we don't have an active cable connection upstairs. This is a great antenna, it was pretty easy to set up with RCA signal finder app. You place the antenna close to a window avoiding metal, and using the app to find the best location for the antenna.Then you plug in the power cord, and the adapter should be able to be vertical or flat and the signal reader can measure your signal strength. You can adjust placement based on the meter until it is at least yellow, then you connect it to your tv's coaxial cable input. We put ours up using thumb tacks behind our tv which is across from a window about 20 feet away. Then you can scan the tv channels under antenna. We are in the DFW area in Texas and we probably get about 60 channels. It has weird decimal channels like 11.2, 62.4, etc.. it is thin, 360 degree reception so you can just hang it where you get the best signal. The picture is really good quality on most channels, it does occasionally have some pixelation or pausing for some channels. The sound and volume is great, as well as closed caption. Channels we get on ours is HSN, Fox, decades, cozi tv, 700 club, ion, gettv, nbc, twist, start tv, dabl, fave, pbs, pbs kids, create, cbs, this, circle, kuvn, bounce, escape, laff, movies!, and a ton more. I would definitely recommend it to others especially if you don't have a smart tv with access to free apps (which you would need cable to access the apps anyway). It is nice to have local news and weather channels as well. I also like that the design is slim and can be hidden right behind our tv.

    Perfect alternative to cable TV
    I have used these HD interior antennas for a few months now and they work great. I'm able to pick up all my location stations, along with many others. The picture is crystal clear and I never have issues with scrambled signals or connection drops. I do have cable on the main TV in our family room, but instead of getting additional boxes ($3.99 each) in all the bedrooms, I am using these antennas. It's simple to install. You just connect one end to the TV and the other end gets affixed to a window. There's not much to it. I highly recommend buying these and using them. I elected not to get rid of my cable TV altogether but I can see where it's possible if you only watch basic channels. It sure saves a lot of money and it does work great!

    Reception is great
    I needed an antenna for a TV in our guest room and got this RCA Ultra-Thin Multi-Directional Amplified Indoor Antenna for it. It is packed in a cardboard container that is easy to get into. It came with simple directions as to how to install it and use it. I downloaded the RCA app as stated on the box. The antenna itself is super thin and easy to install on the window with provided mounting tape. Using the app, you can find the best signal reception. The signal meter has LED lights to let you know if your signal is weak or strong. We were able to pick up numerous channels for our guests to watch. I love the simplicity of the installation and use.

    RCA antenna
    I was slightly impressed with this antenna for picking up a couple of stations about 60 miles from my house so that part is true but only if installed on the outside of my house. If installed on the inside on the same window I only get four channels as compared to twenty three on the outside. All in all not really too bad considering the size and the ease of moving it around. I guess for rural applications it's not my first choice but closer to a larger city it shouldwork just great.

    Great Quality and Simple to Use
    The RCA Ultra Thin Multi-Directional Amplified Indoor Antenna comes with a built in Signal Meter. This indoor antenna works great. The directions were easy to follow and the antenna was quick to hook up. This antenna comes with a downloadable signal App that guided me in placing the antenna. It helped me to learn where the best possible place was to get the best reception and optimal channels in my area, while using this antenna. I wish the power adaptor's cord was a little longer, but I made it work. The adaptor is very simple to read. There is an on/off button as well as colored lights that show you your UHF signal strength from weak to strongest. The antenna itself is lightweight and easy to install. It comes with four double-sided sticky tapes or you can use thumb tacks, depending on where you are hanging it. There are two holes located at the top of the antenna for the tacks, if that is what you choose. I chose to hang mine in my window with the double-sided tape. Once I found my signal, I was ready to hook up the coaxial cable to my television. The coaxial cable is twelve feet and gives me plenty of room to hook it to my television. I performed a channel search and all of the available channels started popping up. I like that this antenna is two-sided and gives you a choice to hang it as black on one side and white on the other, so it matches my décor, or easily blends in depending on where I hang it. This antenna has a 65-mile range, and gives me great reception quality so I can watch all my favorite shows at no cost.

    Great Reception!!
    I could not be happier with this Antenna! I live in the Houston area and can get a great deal of channels on an antenna. With the antenna I had before, a lot of the channels would not come in continuously. When I put this antenna on an inside wall behind a picture they all are coming in perfectly!! This is a really good antenna for great reception! You will love it!

    The RCA multi-directional amplified indoor antenna is easy to install with all components strung together and easily identifiable.With a down loadable app,to guide you in the best placement of the antenna for the most free channels possible.The amplifier with its signal meter and LED's instantly alert you as to the signal strength.I was able to acquire 71 channels in my area with only a few false positives or weak signals of those individual channels.I am quite pleased with the crystal clear reception of the most important channels in my area.

    Superior TV Antenna!
    The RCA antenna was very easy to set up, and all you simply have to do is connect the coaxial cable to your television's antenna coaxial socket and you pretty much all done. The instruction manual recommends that you also download and install the "RCA Signal Finder" app on your cell phone. The next step involves finding the right location to place the antenna. I did manage to install the app, but it didn't appear to function well and needs some work. I can't speak for other people's experience, though. My first thought was to stick the antenna on the window, but I ended up placing the antenna flat down on a box near the window instead. I did that because the antenna's adhesive tape was missing and not included in the packaging. I used the Signal Finder to help find a better location near a wall, and then proceeded to turn on my television set and selected the scan button to search for available television stations and broadcast. The whole scanning process took about 10 minutes to complete, and When the results were finished I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that 72 stations were found...nice! The next step involved searching for Cable stations. After a somewhat lengthy scan of about 30 minutes, nothing was found. Next, I was given the option to set up a feature called "Live TV Pause. Essentially, what this feature does is "allow you to rewind and play back up to 90 minutes of the current digital channel you are watching." I skipped that process for now because it required formatting a USB drive - which I didn't have any blank devices on hand. After the whole setup process was complete I used my Roku remote control to surf through the newly found television stations. The up and down buttons are used to select the channels and the right button on the remote control is used to bring up a TV station schedule in which the available channels and program descriptions are listed. Quite frankly, I was overwhelmed with joy at looking at the layout and sheer number of broadcasts and channels that the RCA antenna. The programming contained all kinds of content: From local news and weather to nostalgic television shows and everything in between. On the bottom left of the screen appears to be a green antenna icon that apparently indicates the strength of the channel signal that you are watching. From my viewing experience the quality ranged from 480i to 1080p, and this of course varied from station to station. Some stations were crystal clear and crisp with beautiful color, while others were just 'so-so'. The RCA Ultra Thin Multi-Directional Amplified Indoor Antenna with Signal Meter performs exceedingly well from just a quick out-of-the-box experience. I'll need to find out how this antenna performs in different weather conditions and other variables, but for now I am quite satisfied. Anyway, I highly recommend this antenna and give it a five out of five stars. This is by far one of the best values for the money that I have come across so far.
