Perfect clock for bedroom
Straight from the box this clock is very simple to set up, however, it does take about a day to sync. The clock has a large face and very simple design. There is a button on the top that lights up the screen blue. The time is displayed nice and large making it easy to read from across the room. I love that it shares the temperature but wish it had second s available.

Hard to program.
Hard to program as directions incomplete and following them accurately didnt always work. Alarm weak sounding. Backlight only works well at specific angles. If tilted when backlit (see pics), screen info disappears so would make height placement critical. 12/24 format hard to set. Removing battery resets click so requires complete set up. Not impressed. So uninpressed I'm not waiting for atomic clock update.

    Good clock
    Good little alarm clock. Took me quite a while to get synced but finally did. I just wished it wasn't battery only. Too much of a pain to remember to keep up on batteries.

    An excellent Atomic Clock for any area
    The Sharp Atomic Desktop clock works perfectly for my needs. I wanted a bedside clock without cords due to space and to be clutter free. It has been dependable and accurate since I first set it and an asset during a recent power outage. It is nice knowing the time, date and temperature at a glance from almost any distance. The top has a light bar, that when pressed back lights the clock in a soothing blue color. I use it as a backup alarm as well. It is well powered and reliable. I will be purchasing two more for my office and kitchen counter where outlets are at a premium or difficult to reach. I would recommend this product.

    Great Clock in the office
    The clock is large enough so that the numbers are easily seen. You can set the clock to display time on a 12 hour basis or a 24 hour basis. The light option shows the black numbers against a blue background. The atomic feature is cool to use, but not critical. The room temperature feature is very useful. All in all a great desk clock. But don't use it as a bedside alarm clock. Bottom line - neat features and a great size.

    It Works
    Our old atomic clock finally quit (after over ten years.) I was excited to try this new one. There are things about this one I like and things I do not. Pros: I like the fact it can be used on a nightstand or dresser. It doesn't take up much space but is still easily readable. It tells the temperature, time and date. It also has an alarm and a blue backlight for night. I like the fact the light stays on long enough to read the display without being too bright or staying on too long to be intrusive at night. I don't have any trouble using it but my parents couldn't see it well. It was a tad small for someone with more “advanced” eye sight. Cons: It was difficult for us to program. It didn't work exactly as it said it would. It does offer the option of waiting 24 hours and it should program itself. We didn't wait that long and many that want an alarm clock probably wouldn't want to as well. This clock will be okay for most people and is reliable enough. If you need a larger display, this isn't the one for you but it will do for most.

    Nice clock
    I received this alarm clock to review and overall I like the clock. It has nice big numbers and I love that it has the inside temperature. The only thing I don't like about it is it doesn't stay lit up. You can press a button and it will stay lit with a bright blue light, but only for a few seconds. It runs on AAA batteries.

    It's time you buy a new clock
    I love this clock. It is modern in appearance, but I can put it with my antiques and it does not "stand out like a sore thumb". It can also be hung on a wall if you do not want it sitting out. I put some batteries in it (3 AAA batteries not included), I set my time zone and daylight savings mode and forgot about the clock. When I walked by it a few hours later, it had set the correct time, month and day, and the temperature of the room. If the screen is not easy for you to read, hit the snooze button and it will light up for 5 seconds to make it easier to view.

    Overall Great Alarm Clock
    This light weight, battery operated alarm clock is great. There is a snooze button on the top of it. This would be great if you travel and don't like using the alarm clock in the hotel.or.dont even have one. It tells you the temperature, time date and day of the week. Simple and easy to use.

    Big Buttons
    This Sharp is a nice looking clock with large display and bright blue backlight. It has a wide sturdy pull out stand or it can be hung on the wall. It was pretty intuitive to set the time, alarm and date. I Really didn't need to refer to the instructions that much. I like that all the buttons are large. Snooze and backlight are on the bar across the top. The alarm is a series of high pitched beeps gradually increasing in frequency, and although I'm not a heavy sleeper, I think it should be enough to wake you up. I checked the temperature sensor against my indoor- outdoor thermometer and it seems to be accurate. It took a couple of days for it to synchronize with the Fort Collins atomic clock radio signal (maybe there are too many trees around my house). The instructions says it can take an entire day to connect and that the connection is best in the early morning. Without the backlight on, it can be impossible to read at certain angles. I've had other flat digital clocks with this same problem. Even with that problem, it's still a nice clock. I'm planning to buy another as a birthday gift.
