Heat Deflector
Works very well! Not for use if you’re standing around your fire pit, the heat just hits your legs. Perfect for sitting around the pit. Once the pit gets good and hot, it pushes a lot of heat out the sides making sitting around it much more comfortable.

Pleasantly surprised!
Wasn't sure how much of a difference this would make, but it did change the outflow of heat when sitting near the fire. Also seems you can place it on top of the riser for the cast iron accessories if you don't want to mess with the legs it comes with.

They hated getting cold because the heat tended to radiate upwards and not out, making early spring and late fall fires "chilly." The heat deflector sends much more of the heat outward while still maintaining the smoke-free benefit of SOLO. Now, the shelf seasons can be warm again as we raise our toasts around my backyard Bonfire SOLO stove.Steven R.

Upon arrival, I set it up and will admit I’m not a huge fan with how easily the three legs can fall off as the securement clip loses its tension. I truly wish there was a different means to attach these legs. Once you look past it, the actual performance of the deflector allowed us to actually be further away from the pit, and have our legs be much more comfortable as it pushes the heat much lower. My wife has loved this accessory. I bought this while it was on sale and feel that the sale price was fair. If it was more than that, I would be looking for a different aftermarket solution for my needs. The build quality is decent, and I have no doubt it will last as long as my bonfire!Matthew K.

To think that an add-on accessory would take the bonfire from a “10” to a “15” is silly. But it does. You simply must try the heat deflector. It worked. We can cozy up closer or stay further back, either way we can find the warmth and have enjoyed it. I recommend it as an accessory and guessing we won’t need it as much in the summer but then again in early fall. A very nice option.Jennifer L.
