Does the job!
Most PC manufacturers make their PC power supplies with only one extra open SATA power port, you can't add another CD/DVD or hard drive. This power splitter works well and is long enough to reach the devices in the cabinet. I'm happy with it.

    Great item that does exactly what you need it to. The plug ends are very secure and lock tightly onto the power input, and the cable length should be adequate for any use. I was initially going to just connect one SSD with this, but decided instead to tuck away my PSU sata cables in favor of using the entire thing. It seems that in my situation at least, that this would be slightly less cluttered inside my case and allow for better airflow and cooling.

    Great cable! But...
    I plugged this into my four SSD drives and it worked great! ... Except my power supply is on the bottom of my case, while not a big deal, I had to run my cable to the top of my case as this cable runs from bottom to top and the power connecter is facing the top of the case. If I had a top mounted PSU this wouldn't be an issue, but for those with bottom mounted PSU's you might have to configure your wiring a bit differently. Maybe (hint hint) Startech could make one for us bottom feeders! :)
