THE VIRGINIAN COMPLETE FIRST SEASON
I am very satisfied with this purchase so far. I am almost at the end of the first season, and I am going to purchase the second season soon. This was always a well written and acted series, once you get passed the fact that the main character was never given a name, for some reason, still a great western series.

    OLDER IS BETTER
    I NEVER WATCHED THIS WHEN IT ORIGINALLY AIRED SO THIS WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE. THE GARBAGE THEY ARE PUTTING ON TV NOW IS HORRENDOUS. SO I THOUGHT I'D TAKE A CHANCE. VERY GOOD CHOICE.

    older westerns are the best!
    No horrible blood scenes, no gore, just good western stories.. I got hooked on the Virginian watching old episodes on TV. So glad I bought this since CABLE cut the station off that showed this series and other western shows. I miss the station but now I can watch them on my own. I knew I would enjoy the DVDs.
