Keep baby safe
This gate is a must have in my house. I like how I can put it up and if I need to close the door I still can. It is easy to put up and take down. It does come with screws if you want to mount it. The simple lift to lock and unlock makes removing this gate a breeze.

Absolutely terrible
I was disappointed from the moment I took it out the box. It came without any sort of instructions at all - which, once I figured out how it worked (by a fluke) wasn't a problem: the concept is straightforward enough - but it is most unusual to not have some sort of informational sheet or pamphlet. The experience with it went downhill from there. It only slides open and shut when all three tracks are perfectly aligned, and it's nearly impossible to get them perfectly aligned. The only way I could get it to slide was by setting it on one end and sliding it up and down. When I set it into my doorframe to note where to put the wall cups, when the lower rubber foot was set flush to the wall, the upper foot had a gap large enough it wouldn't have reached the cup. It is nothing but an obstacle for any doorway smaller than the max width. Even fully open, there is barely room to squeeze by in a standard doorframe. It's more useful left in the cardboard box. At least the box is easy to move out the way.

    Not trust worthy or stable
    Thought this was a suitable purchase, I dog sit and groom out of my house needed a solution to keeping Dogs separate. Came with wall sticky things to keep gate in place, those didn't last a day and ripped the paint and some of the wall off when they came off. Also gate is really hard to lock and keep in place. Doesn't stay on the wall now easily knocked over just from being brushed up against/slightly touched that is if you can get it to lock in a place that will keep it up, wouldn't recommend for toddlers or pets no security. Get what you pay for

    Perfect for restricting our dogs access.
    I bought one to keep our dogs from accessing our up stairs offices, it worked so well we bought another to keep them out of our pantry. Easy to put up and take down in seconds.

    Garbage do not buy
    What a piece of garbage. Why it this more expensive than the wood one???? Omg I hate this thing. It is crap. It can't hold tension AT ALL. I can't believe it's so bad! I'm furious!

    I've had 6 kids over 12 years and this gate is the worst baby gate ever created in the history of baby gates. You can't get it tight enough to stay where you want it and if you go too much it breaks. It's garbage. I bought two and I highly regret it.

    Practical and affordable
    I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This baby gate is functional, lightweight, and easy to adjust. It is not the best looking, but it serves its limited purpose well. Wish instructions were clearer, but I've had other baby gates before so it wasn't difficult to resolve. If you are looking something practical and affordable this is a good option.

    Super easy baby gate to use. So easy to install. Works great. Just need to wind the handle to adjust to the right length and it stays. So secure for stairs. Lightweight. Recommended.

    It works, but there's a trick to it
    If you have molding, this may not work for you depending on what you need it for. Our trim comes out further than the wall and as such, the top stoppers don't reach the wall, leaving this easy to knock over. However if you slant it a bit, it does hold better. You can put it above the molding and it works great! We have a large dog so this works well because he can't sneak under it, but if you have a smaller dog then this won't work well. If you don't have high molding it shouldn't be an issue. See my pictures for reference. This is a little harder to slide, I haven't quite figured it out without maneuvering quite a bit, but I love that when you close the latch it tightens it out a bit further, offering a secure fit.

    Simple to use
    This baby gate is a nice and simple design. It does not require a big set up, and is easy to use. This comes with little pieces that you can hook onto the wall to make sure the gate doesn't slide and fall. I'm not sure if it works as well without the little feet pieces, but I'm sure you can use it without them. It doesn't lock in place when you have to open it; you have to move the entire gate open on one side. I feel like the ones with the door are a little more convenient. But overall, it still gets the job done. The handle locks the gate in place when it's closed, so for a child who is older, it may be a little easier to open, but they may still struggle. The handle is also on the inside of the gate, like facing the area where you don't want your child to go, I guess so the won't mess with the handle. I gave this 4 stars because it was a little hard to get out of the box, and also, it was difficult to open initially, I had to fight with it. But overall, I'd recommend.
