These are TRADING CARDS
Folks - let's start with the basics. There are reviews that call out this is not a toy. These are trading cards (clearly marked in the description and on the images). Topps is a trading card company. This isn't a new concept. This is, in fact, one of the companies that invented non-sports trading cards. Topps has released many of these retail box sets in the past and this is by far the best for the average collector. Included in EACH box is a complete set of the 25 base cards and 5 art cards. You do not need to purchase multiple boxes to complete the base set. That is wonderful, and unusual in the card world. Also included are 2 parallel cards (the same as the base cards, but with a different color border. These are harder to find (rarer). Anyone wanting to chase these will need to buy many sets. This box is definitely worth it for anyone looking for trading cards focusing on The Child (AKA Baby Yoda) from The Mandalorian.

    More Baby Yoda, Please!
I watched the Mandalorian because I'm a Star Wars fan, but I now watch because of the Child or Baby Yoda. Because I collect cards and now Baby Yoda merchandise, I was excited to find these were coming out, so I bought a box to put away. I love the images, but I wish the images had more exposure because they're kind of dark. It's hard to say I don't like something when it comes to the Child, but I'm not a fan of the border design which is a Tattooine-esque illustrated landscape. It is imaginative, and I'm not saying it's bad, I just have different taste in design. I do highly appreciate this set however.

I'm surprised with the amount of people who didn't read the box at all. It literally says “2020 trading cards” and it's very clear that TOPPS makes cards. I've been collecting their Star Wars, dc, marvel, etc. cards since the 90s. What I don't like about these cards in particular is the frame. I find the animated frame around the screenshot of the live action is a pretty lazy idea. The 5 graphic cards are also very lame, like they just googled “the child” and used the first five pieces of fanart they could find. The worst is the 2 bonus cards you get with the different coloured top frame—90% likely you'll get green and not one of the options listed on the box. Yeah, green is not listed as an option, but that's the one you'll get. Don't believe me? Search up this product on yt and watch any of the uploaded review or unboxing vids. 9/10 times it's green. It feels very low effort from TOPPS. Like they rushed something out just to jump on the child money wagon. I personally would not buy again, but to each their own.

Baby Yoda is not called "the child"
Why? Why is his name "the child"? I really don't get it. And don't buy this unless you want some bad cards, my friend bought this and he thought there was a figurine inside but nope, just some Pokemon card ripoff

I don't write reviews, but the only other person to review this apparently couldn't read. it doesn't say anywhere that there is a figure inside. These are collectible cards. They are exactly as described, and are actually pretty cool. Giving something a negative review because you assumed something that wasn't true is unfair to the product.

    READ Desciption!
Buyer beware! I bought item because I thought it had a small collectable figurine. I did not read the description thoroughly. It is a card game of sort, made by Topps. If this what you intended to order than it's good. Package is very deceiving.
