An excellent desk speaker phone...
This is an excellent desk set speaker phone for the price. It is solidly built, easy to use, has great sound, and has a lot of convenient features. I'd buy it again.

shown above. waiting for replacement
I had to return the above because it did not seem to recognize the charged batteries. Message ID was not showing up (no light) which made message saying "check batteries" difficult to read. Batteries were good even though the message never changed. I look forward to a replacement. And, do hope that my replacement will perform as expected. Thank you!

    I will not purchase this phone again.
    I bought this phone for my elderly mother in April 2021 and here it is September and I have to replace it because it isn't working right already.

    No electric cord!
    Description does say it doesn't need AC power and mentions battery operation, but it doesn't say YOU CAN'T USE AC POWER. This is a major deviation from the norm and should be spelled out in BOLD LETTERING!! Took it back.

    Works good-fit on wall sufficient not great
    We needed a wall phone. The phone itself works well so far. BUT seems attached to the wall in a flimsy fashion. Probably our decades old wall plate and this phone attachment are not compatible. It is only attached at the bottom of the back of the phone to the bottom of our plate. There is a flatish button at the top of our plate (picture top of thumb tack), that has no way to attach to the back of this phone. The prior phone was a GE, and before that a Panasonic that fit decades ago which are no longer made or available new.

    Phone makes and receives calls. Poor instructions.
    Looks nice, works well if buttons are firmly pressed, ringer volume on highest setting is still rather soft. My primary objection is the inadequate instructions for setting up the numbers to be dialed with one button AND the lack of instructions to deal with missed calls. The displayed number of missed calls is worthless unless there is a way to see them, which I cannot do without the missing instructions. The phone works but the features I wanted are not accessible to me without the needed instructions.

    Batteries not included!
    The description of the phone says, "No AC power needed." There is a reason for this and it SHOULD be on the description. The reason is that it takes 4 AA batteries in order to work the caller ID and the answering machine. You will be able to call out without the batteries, but in order to use the answering machine and caller ID screen you must keep replacing the batteries. It is unfortunate that this is NOT CLEARLY listed in the description. This will cause us to return the phone. Hopefully this posting can save others effort.
