I smoked a brisket on this the first day .I'm used to the old school smokers,not to toot my own horn I can make a mean smoked brisket. this new grill blew my mind . brisket was so juicy, tender,.....I give this smoker pellet grill a 10 .its the bomb.

I received a broken grill
After assembling my new grill I noticed that there were wires that ran outside of the grill that appeared to be for the temperature sensor. I thought this was strange. I plugged in the grill and completed the initial startup procedure. After turning the grill on and turning the dial to smoke the digital display read Er2. I looked in the troubleshooting instructions and followed the steps to turn the grill off, the dial to power shutdown and then back to smoke. I turned the grill back on and got the Er2 code. I repeated this procedure a dozen times and always got the same Er2 code. It seems like the grill you sent me was previously returned for an issue with the temperature sensor circuit and someone temporarily installed a new temperature sensor to troubleshoot the malfunction. Since the temperature sensor was never re-wired through the inside of the grill it seems like the issue was never resolved and I was somehow shipped a malfunctioning grill. This is incredibly frustrating.

    Great small smoker, really good looking.
    easy to set up, works great, it is our first smoker and we have only used it to smoke ribs, they were great! We liked it so much we bought one for our son for Christmas!

    The little engine that could
    Good started smoker for those wanting to either get in to the game, or only use occasionally. Temps hold well, even in wind and sun, solid little unit and I expect to get my money's worth out of it. Handled the 1st 3 racks of baby-back ribs w/o issue and then a pork-butt...same day.

    Nice but small.
    This is my second pellet grill. Assembly was easy, it works very well, comes up to temperature quickly and maintains within a few degrees. I hadn't seen this model in person before I ordered it and if I had it to do over again I would have ordered a larger model.
