Worst customer support out there!
Had the spa for 1 week and had one simple issue with it. A plastic fitting broke. Nothing from local hardware store would fit. Bestway/ Coleman Saluspa bar none has THE WORST customer support I’ve ever seen. I have searched the internet over and over for a $10 fitting. You cannot call them, they want to charge you for online chat, and they do not return calls in the call back forum. DO NOT buy or hope you never have any issues!

    Great little spa!
I was very pleased that the spa arrived so quickly. Set up was very quick with easy to follow instructions. Since our well water is very cold, it did take over 24 hours to get it heated up but it was worth the wait. The jets are fabulous and feels great on a sore back! The only complaint I have is that the heat does go down a little quicker than I like as I like to stay in the tub longer. The more people in the spa, it goes down quicker. Make sure you order additional filters as they do clog up quickly with well water and you will get an error message E02 and have to replace it with a clean one. Overall, I am very happy with the spa and for the price we paid, it was a great deal! Looking forward to using it for the summer. Comfortably fits 3 adults. We set ours up outside and surrounded it with a 10 X 14 screen tent to keep the bugs out.

    Buy it!
Wow @ this thing! Its realistically got room for 2 grown adults but im not complaining about it because I got a good price on it in the dead of winter and its been worth every penny to have a hot tub. I skipped my vacation this year and bought this instead and now every day is a vacation in my backyard. The chemicals arent too hard to get right and it stays hot enough for me to have a good long 30-45 min soak nightly. It's also healing everything that's wrong with me. Setup was easy and I was prepared for my electric bill to go up. I think it's worth it. Only thing better would be a real hot tub which I will certainly get one day if I'm still into it after this thing dies.

    Love hot tub
It took a little over 16 hour to heat heats to 104 degrees I have inside my home and reheats to 104 degree's in 3 hours after 24 to 28 hours of being turned off pretty easy setup very thick plastic almost canvas with thick top to hold in heat 6 straps on side to hold top on secure which I like because of my grand babies I am 5”7 and can spin all away around inside absolutely huge has a ring around bottom where the jets are excellent on back some areas give more pressure than other areas or the low pressure areas you need a 8 by 8 area to fit nicely and still be able to walk around with about 8 inches all the way around

Amazing, affordable and easy!!! But be advised!!!
Easy setup for the most part EXCEPT the directions are mostly pictures that are unclear. Please do yourself a favor and YouTube the instructional video it will save you tons of frustration! Be prepared to wait as it does take about 3 days to warm up to the highest temp of 104 degrees. ALSO, comes with a screw in dispenser for spa chemicals BUT does NOT come with any sanitizer tablets or spas chemicals so make sure to buy them as they are separate. Once it gets hot enough and you fire up the jets, it feels amazing!!!

    Wonderful
We put it on our brick patio, but first we put down packages of the interlocking colorful squares from Sam's which gave us a great cushion. The jets are wonderful and massage away shoulder tension. Getting into the spa is so easy as the sides are strong and it is leg high. We did not want to spend a lot of money so we got more than we paid for. We are learning how to adjust the chemical needs and the little test kits at Walmart have helped us. We bought extra filters so we are able to switch them out and wash the used ones in the sink. Another great benefit is that we were able to plug the pump into a regular outlet...no special wiring. We highly recommend.

Easy Set Up, Toasty Warm, Low Maintenance
You only need to buy one thing for this Spa. Some chlorine or bromine tablets (small ones not 3 inch). I have a built in pool so I used a 3 inch chlorine tablet and put it in a ziplock bag and hit it with a hammer. It gave me small enough pieces to place in the floating chlorinator. Ok first off this was really easy to set up. You place the black/grayish pad down first. It looks like bubble wrap, but it's much sturdier. You place it bubble side up. Next you unfold the hot tub and the cover. Then plug in the control system and hook the hose that comes with it up to the "A" on the control system and the "A" on the hot tub. This blows it up. There is a meter that comes with the spa to gauge the air, but ours did not work. It also states in the instructions not to just rely on the meter. You can tell by feeling the spa when it's full. Next you want to inflate the cover. It is easiest to take the inflatable part of the cover out and then blow it up and then put the green cover back over the inflated top part. After you inflate the spa and top you connect the control center to the spa. It's 2 items that are very clearly marked "B" and "C". You then place on the white filters. After this step you fill it with water. There is a "MIN" and "MAX" line clearly marked on the inside of the spa. Now you're ready to heat the water! You need to place the top on the spa and secure it with the clips around the sides. Then you press the button on the control panel that looks like a sun. If you push it and it doesn't light up that just means your system is "hibernating". All you do is hold your finger on the Power button for 3 seconds then it will make a beep noise to tell you it is ready. Push the sun button and it will start to heat up. You will also notice that the filter light and button is red. This is normal. It is supposed to filter while it heats up. I preferred the temperature to display in Farenheight and not Celcius so you just press the "C/F" button on the control panel to display your preference. NOTE: It will take about 14 hours at least to heat up. It rose about 2 degrees an hour and this was in 60 degree weather. You should plan maybe an hour for the set up and to let it heat until the next day for use. You can check the control panel to see what the temperature is. When you're ready to get in you just take off the top and hit the "bubbles" button on the control panel. This will start the jets! Place your chlorine or bromine tablets in the floating blue and white chlorinator and relax in your spa! It was very relaxing, very warm, and the bubbles are powerful. It felt like a back massage when you lean against the sides. It's very easy to get in and out of. I'm only 5 foot and I had no trouble getting in or out. To maintain your spa you will need to change out filters as well as replenish the chlorine or bromine. Overall, this is a great family spa with little maintenance. I can't wait to use it when it gets much colder outside. My daughter absolutely loved it as well.

    Affordable and Portable Spa
Spa was relatively easy to set up although the directions could be improved. There is a DVD setup disk included and looking at the pictures on the box assists with assembly. The spa heated to desired temperature within a day. Attaching the respective connections was also easy to complete.Everything is included except the 1" chlorine tablets which can be bought locally at a pool store or online. Spa is well constructed and feels very durable. The spa is very relaxing and great to use on cool evenings. The controls take a little getting used to but are pretty intuitive once you get the hang of the control panel. If you are looking for a relaxing and comfortable way to unwind, I would recommend you purchasing one of these spas.

Delightful Spa Experience at a Great Price!
The Coleman Lay-Z-Spa is truly a great buy for the price. From the packaging of the product (I was expecting a huge, bulky box) to the easy set-up, this is a product definitely worth its price tag! The product directions let you know that it only warms up approximately two degrees every hour, and that is definitely accurate. Do not expect to be sitting in it the first day or you will be disappointed. However, once we got the temperature to 100-degrees or higher, we’ve been sitting in the spa on a daily basis. The unit is incredibly simple to maintain. We already have a swimming pool and are familiar with chemicals, so that has not been a challenge for us either. In fact, we had been contemplating adding a larger hot tub unit to our deck area but weren’t ready to make the financial commitment the more permanent models have. I love the fact that this unit can be moved and stored quickly and easily. The jets are pretty powerful considering how small the spa is. It obviously can’t compare to an $8000 spa with multiple jets, but I find the bubbles to be just right when soaking in the unit. The spa is marketed as a 4-person unit, but I think it truly only fits two adults comfortably. While you could fit four adults in the unit, it really is most comfortable with two. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a spa experience for a fraction of the cost. There really is no need to spend thousands of dollars, unless you’re looking for something that is different aesthetically or simply need a larger unit to accommodate more people.

    Easy to set up!!
I love this product!! I set it up myself and it was so easy to do. It is made from very strong materials, I was concerned that it may be too easy to get a hole in it, but its much thicker than the inflatable pools are. Everything you need is included (the two filters needed are already inside the Filter Set), except for the chemicals needed to keep it clean. You'll need to buy some bromine or chlorine slow disolving tablets for the chemical floater thats included. Here are some things I learned as I set mine up that you may want to know: *The massage system (it makes the bubbles) is what you use to inflate the spa and the piece in the cover. Attach the hose before turning on to inflate or the air going through the hose will make a high pitch whistle that can be painful to your ears. *The pump is pretty much silent, except when you're using it to inflate the spa and cover piece, but even then it's not unbearably loud. *The spa and cover piece inflate quickly. *The leatheroid cover itself does not inflate, theres a round piece inside of it (not attached) that does. Once inflated, it fits inside the underside of the cover. *There's a pressure gauge included that you use when inflating the spa, so you need to know now how to read one. The instructions will tell you what the gauge needs to reach. *When inflating the cover piece, don't use the pressure gauge, theres a piece attached to the hose (hanging from it), attach to the end of the hose because it fits in the air valve of the cover piece. *You do not have to cover the pump if it rains (it is waterproof). *The Lay-Z-Spa should not be set up or left out in temperatures lower than 4°c (40°f). This spa is for indoor and outdoor use. *If the buttons on the pump are not responding be sure that it isn't locked. It locks automatically after 5 minutes. To unlock, hold your finger over the lock/unlock button for 3 seconds to unlock (or to lock if you want it to lock again sooner than the 5 minutes). *It took about an hour and 15 minutes for spa to fill with water. *It can take up to 24 hours for the spa to heat first up to the temperature you set it on. *The pump turns off on it's own after 72 hours (the pump will say End on the screen) to turn it on again unlock buttons and touch any button to restart it. It may need to be heated up more. *The spa will heat up as it needs to to maintain the chosen temperature. When you take everything out of the box and start reading through the instructions, don't feel overwhelmed, it's so much easier to set up than it looks. There's really nothing complicated at all about setting it up or even taking it down to store it. There is a refrigerator magnet included that has the toll free phone number for customer service. I called them one time (to ask if I had to cover the pump when it rains), and I can tell you they are very friendly and helpful. The water heats up great, the massage system feels amazing, and you can pack it up and take it anywhere. I am 100% happy with this product!

    Impressive for a portable spa!
At first, I had my doubts that an inflatable structure could function well as a spa. However, the Coleman Lay-Z Spa exceeded my expectations in almost every way. It truly doesn’t take any tools and is ready to fill in minutes! Unlike a traditional spa, this one can be stored away during winter and moved easily if you change residence. Pros • The instructions come in written and video form, and for the most part are useful. (It took me a minute to realize that the buttons are toggles and to deactivate you must press again, this little bit of information was buried in the section on the pump instead of noted in the set up. And it also doesn't mention the ground liner in the written instructions.) • It includes a chemical floater, which is a nice inclusion, but I would have been really happy if it came with a starter chlorine tablet. • The pump functions as the inflator (in this capacity, it is quite noisy, unlike when it is attached to the spa). • The pump also has a built in GFCI, which is a nice feature. • There’s a pressure gauge included to make sure it’s inflated to the proper pressure. • I like the inflatable part of the cover because it floats on the water and is very neat in appearance as well as acts like an insulator while heating. • The inflated spa is a simple cylindrical shape inside and out, and the interior diameter is approximately 60 inches. I have to say that even empty of water, the sides of the spa are very rigid and even my husband could sit on them. There’s no sagging or collapsing. • There are two filters that go on the inside of the spa. They are about the size of a small cantaloupe, and house a filter that you can clean by hosing them off or replacing. • Attaching the pump to the spa, I needed the help of my husband as I wasn’t able to get the fittings tight by hand. But the fittings haven’t leaked or anything. • While heating and filtering, the pump is so quiet!! • While making the Lay-Z Massage bubbles, the noise from the pump is very reasonable – the noise of the water is louder. • There is a soft ring, made from the same material as the spa, around the inside of the spa at the bottom which is where the air is pumped to create the Lay-Z Massage bubbles. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of turbulence it created – there was much more than I anticipated. (Watch the video to see the bubbles in action.) Cons • Keep in mind, when choosing a location for your spa, that it will need a flat surface that can support the weight and an electrical outlet. • During the unboxing, I did need the help of my husband because the deflated spa was heavy for me. • The pump is quite loud while pumping air to inflate. (But don’t worry, when pumping the water or bubbles it isn’t loud at all.) • Because I received my spa in the fall, the weather was chilly. So the concrete was cold and the water from the hose was cold. With these conditions, the heater took several hours to raise the water temperature a few degrees. I let the heater run over night and when I woke up it was at 104. So unfortunately, I don’t have a good idea of how long the heating takes during warmer weather. But once it’s heated, it maintains the temperature well.

If I could give this a 10 star review I would.
Wow! Seriously, wow. This spa is a high quality product. It took about 20 minutes getting it ready to fill. It took a total of 30 minutes to fill, and we have terrible water pressure. Within 20 minutes of turning on the heating unit it was notably warmer. The controls are easy to use and the pump set up is clearly labeled and ready to hook-up. The only thing I had trouble with at all was spreading the pool out after removing it from the box but that is because the material is heavy duty. It didn’t matter anyway, once I connected the pump and started filling the body with air. It filled no problem in minutes. I am still impressed with the fortitude of this material. I decided to set the tub up on my patio slab. There is a pillar behind the tub and when I wasn’t paying attention the tub pushed into a small thin wire that protrudes through the stucco. This would have been a big problem in a lesser tub. The very sharp piece of metal mesh did not penetrate at all. I am over 200 lbs and can sit on the walls no problem. I am also in love with the connections to the pump/heater. There wasn’t a single drop of water leaked and hasn’t been since. I sincerely wish that Coleman made an above ground pool. With this simple, effective design you really can’t go wrong. I didn’t need a single tool or to rig anything to make it work right. I’m impressed. There is a drainage tube off the pump side of the tub. Make sure that before you fill it with water it is near wherever you’d like to drain. I don’t know the weight with water or people but you do need two people to move the box if it’s full. Once you unpack it though the pieces are manageable. Now, I live in Arizona so the coolest it gets here at night is about 35F. If you live in a cooler climate consider putting this indoors. It took about 9 hours for this to warm from 86 degrees to 104 degrees. Not bad if you ask me. However, if it were colder it would be more work and take considerably longer. Make sure to put the bubble pad underneath to insulate from the ground. The maker suggests changing the water weekly or more depending on use. They also recommend changing the filter cartridges weekly depending on use. You need to do this and they aren’t free. Consider the overall cost if you want to use this regularly. The filters cost between $10 and $14 dollars apiece from what I can find. Countering any possible negative you can find here is the simple fact that this tub comes with you wherever you go. Indoor, outdoor, rental or property owner this thing IS going to meet the need. Also you can comfortably sit 4 200 lb. adults in here.

    Spa Tub to Go!
I am a big fan of Spa Tubs, I like them for their therapeutic values and the fact that they can be used year round. But much like pools they can be very expensive to purchase and install, and if you are a renter, it's not even an option for the most part. Here is where the Coleman Lay-Z-Spa comes in, pricewise it is very affordable at $499, and because it is portable, there is no need to involve the expense of an electrician and a plumber. In fact the portability and ease of set up is what makes this such a great deal. The Coleman Lay-Z-Spa lets you enjoy the pleasure of a Spa Tub nearly anywhere. It seats four to six people, but I would recommend keeping it to four adults maximum. The Lay-Z-Spa itself holds 254 gallons of water and weighs 2700 Lbs. full, so if you are going to use it indoors make sure your floor is capable of supporting the weight and keep in mind that at some point it may need to be drained. Setup is quick and easy with the included pump, just plug the pump into regular 110 volt house current and let it inflate, add water and instant Spa Tub. When inflating the Lay Z Spa, you will notice quite a lot of air escaping from where the inflation hose attaches to the pump. This is normal, as this is the same air pump that powers the jets in the Spa. The inflation hose is designed this way to prevent over inflation and damage to the spa. Well instant may be pushing it, but the entire process from un-boxing to ready takes about an hour. Of course the water takes a bit longer to heat up, but in just a few hours you can enjoy your own Spa. An insulated pad for the bottom of the spa to prevent damage and a locking cover is included for both safety and to keep the water warm while saving on power. A soft touch digital control for the pump is included as well as a chemical floater, and filters. The bottom line is if you are looking for a portable Spa Tub, or a Spa Tub on a budget, you can't go wrong with the Coleman Lay-Z-Spa. Follow the directions and setup is quick and easy, in a few hours the water is hot and you are ready to kick back and enjoy a Spa at a bargain price.
