Great product
I love it! So easy to get quick access into your home. I feel more at ease with my kids knowing a code then having a key and lose it.

Beware yearly failure, sometimes without warning!
We have had our lock for about 2 years. The reasons I bought it were: I like the lever handle (easy to use when your hands are full of groceries); I like the fact that it has a key as a backup means of entry), and it was a decent price at the time I bought it.
About a year in, some mechanical parts started malfunctioning, and Honeywell sent us a replacement. Thankfully it gave us some warning so we had time to act.
About a year after we installed the replacement (so now, 2 years after purchase), it also had a mechanical interior part fail. Basically some of the metal parts stripped out and no longer turned when the lever was turned. The doorknob would not open, either from the inside or the outside, even when "unlocked." We literally had to take the door off the hinges to open it and remove the lock. It failed without warning this time. For the record, the doorknob is not really exposed to much weather, being on a door that is well-covered by a large porch. So I don't think these issues are caused by excessive wear. It still looks new on the outside. It is weak interior parts that keep failing (different ones each time so far).
I have been contacting Honeywell for the past 2 or 3 weeks and have submitted all the warranty information, and still have not received a replacement or heard back. I have emailed and called. I have very mixed and concerned feelings about whether I even want this lock as my main entry security. If I do buy another, it will not be Honeywell. The lock is very difficult to program, so I don't look forward to an annual emergency replacement fiasco. I would have hoped a mainstream brand could produce a doorknob that would last more than 2 years. Should I go for 3rd time's a charm? Hard to say...

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/19/2020Electronic door lockReally love this electronic door lock. It makes it so much easier for me when I have my hands full of grocery bags not to have to dig for a key. I purchased this for my entry door from the garage into the house. I will consider buying 2 more for the main doors into the house. The only drawback and why I rated it a four instead of five, is that if you have a deadbolt, it won't work well. The inside part of the door lock is much larger and covers part of the deadbolt area. I don't use my deadbolt, so we purchased a flat cover for the deadbolt area and the inside of door lock will lay over top of that cover. Also the handle is reversible which is a plus. This isn't stated anywhere in the description of the door lock.Cynthia
